Perhaps the family is engrossed in a fun game at the dining table while you calmly prepare dinner, and a warm sense of to­get­her­ness spreads throug­hout the house. In the holiday home's bathroom you’ll find a luxurious two-person spa, perfect for unwinding and enjoying life amidst soothing bubbles. Here, you can relax in the com­fortab­le outdoor furniture, enjoy a meal fresh off the grill, and let your eyes wander over the bre­ath­taking sea view while keeping an eye on the kids as they happily jump on the tram­po­li­ne or play on the grassy lawn.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

Skovgårde Strand is a tranquil and pi­c­tu­resque heather-clad area located a few ki­lo­me­ters west of Fjellerup Strand. Once a historic fishing village, it is now a beautiful natural area along the North Djursland coast. The beach is extremely family-friendly, boasting a Blue Flag de­sig­na­tion, with picnic tables and benches where you can grill and dine while enjoying the view of the water. The sur­ro­un­ding nature in and around Skovgårde is bre­ath­taking and diverse, with numerous walking trails and small roads perfect for hiking and cycling. The coastline also offers excellent op­portu­ni­ties for fishing. Visit the local area to purchase fresh fish, Danish ve­ge­tab­les, and honey. For the kids, Djurs Som­mer­land amusement park is always a hit, and Gl. Estrup, Denmark's Manor House Museum, offers a fa­sci­nat­ing glimpse into history.
