While the morning coffee is brewing, you can keep an eye on the family’s acti­vi­ties in the pool area through the open sight­li­nes between the rooms. The kitchen flows naturally into the cosy living room, where com­fortab­le furniture, a TV and a crackling wood-burning stove create the perfect setting for quality time together on cooler days. From the living room, you have direct access to the lovely covered barbecue terrace facing southwest.

The pool area quickly becomes the natural gathering point for the whole family. Children can splash and play for hours, while adults unwind in the wellness area featuring a whirlpool and sauna. After an active day exploring the sur­ro­un­ding nature, there is hardly anything better than letting the warmth soothe your body while enjoying the peace and tranquil­li­ty of your holiday.

The holiday home offers five com­fortab­le bedrooms with plenty of space for family and friends. Two bedrooms are furnished with double beds, while three bedrooms each contain two single beds. In addition, there is a cosy loft area with two mattres­ses, often becoming a favourite retreat for children and teenagers.

The two bathrooms make everyday life easy, even when the house is fully occupied. One bathroom is equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer and changing area for younger children, while the second bathroom is connected to the pool area and provides direct access to the sauna.

Sur­ro­un­ding the holiday home is a beautiful woodland plot, where mature deciduous trees create a peaceful and relaxing setting for your holiday. Here, you can enjoy nature’s changing colours throug­hout the year – from the fresh green leaves of spring and the cooling shade of summer to the warm hues of autumn and the calm at­mosp­he­re of winter.

A tiled terrace surrounds most of the house, offering plenty of op­portu­ni­ties to find the perfect spot in the sun or shelter from the wind. Start your day with a cup of coffee under the open sky while birds sing from the treetops, and spend relaxing af­ter­noons in the garden furniture while the children play nearby.

The covered barbecue terrace facing southwest provides the ideal setting for long and enjoyable holiday evenings. Here, meals can be enjoyed in sheltered sur­ro­un­dings while the evening sun slowly dis­ap­pears between the trees and the aroma of grilled food blends with the fresh scent of the forest.

When the sea calls, the beach is only a short walk away. A small path leads through the holiday home area to the family-friendly sandy beach, located just 350 metres from the house. Spend your days taking re­fres­hing swims, building sandcast­les with the children, enjoying long walks along the shoreline, or simply sitting back and taking in the sea views with the wind in your hair.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

Fjellerup Strand is a charming former fishing village located in one of the most at­tra­cti­ve holiday areas along the coast of North Djursland. The beach is ex­cep­tio­nal­ly family-friendly and has been awarded the Blue Flag for its clean waters and excellent fa­ci­li­ties. With dunes, shallow waters and a sandy seabed, it is the perfect desti­na­tion for families with children.

The nature in and around Fjellerup is both beautiful and diverse, offering numerous walking trails and quiet country roads ideal for cycling. In spring, the landscape is painted with bright yellow rapeseed fields and fresh green forests bursting into life.

The coastline also offers excellent op­portu­ni­ties for fishing, while the sur­ro­un­ding area features fa­sci­nat­ing at­tra­ctions such as Mejlgård Castle, the ancient burial monuments at Tustrup and the historic agri­cul­tu­ral museum, Gammel Estrup.

From the holiday home, it is only about a 15-minute drive to Djurs Som­mer­land, the largest amusement park in Scan­di­navia, while the charming market town of Grenaa can be reached in ap­proxi­ma­te­ly 30 minutes. Here, you can visit the Kattegat Centre, where sharks, penguins and seals provide memorable ex­pe­ri­en­ces for visitors of all ages.

Within an hour’s drive, you can explore the city of Randers, home to the Elvis Museum and the tropical ra­in­fo­rest at­tra­ction Randers Regnskov, or visit the pi­c­tu­resque town of Ebeltoft and the scenic hills of Mols Bjerge in southern Djursland.

Last but not least, the vibrant city of Aarhus, often referred to as the capital of Jutland, is within easy reach and offers excellent shopping, cultural at­tra­ctions and culinary ex­pe­ri­en­ces.
