On the way to the holiday home, you’ll pass through the charming village of Gjerrild, where time seems to slow down. Gjerrild Klint is also one of Djursland’s best spots for sea trout fishing. The area is rich in great hiking and cycling trails, including the scenic North Sea Trail, stret­ching all the way from Udbyhøj by Randers Fjord to Grenaa. And speaking of Grenaa – this historic market town is only a 20-minute drive away. Stroll through the pe­de­stri­an streets, take a break at a small sidewalk café, or visit the Kat­te­gat­cen­ter, where enormous sharks swim just inches away from you. For even more adventure, Djurs Som­mer­land – the largest amusement park in the Nordics – is only a 30-minute drive away. Djursland offers endless acti­vi­ties, and both Randers and Aarhus are just about an hour’s drive away. Here, there’s time for life’s little moments.
