Just 15 km from Grenaa is the holiday area, Gjerrild Nordstrand. The beach has been awarded Blue Flag-certification, and for good reason. Here you can enjoy the clear waters, fine sand and calm surroundings. Perfect for splashing, relaxing and playing.
The area is close to the town of Gjerrild and the natural phenomenon of Gjerrild Klint, which is a 35 metre high lime cliff. From here you can experience the impressive views and, if you are into angling, you can try your luck with a fishing rod.
In this area you will find several paths and trails that connect Gjerrild and Bønnerup. Put on your hiking shoes and explore nature.
Spend your holiday in the old lighthouse keeper’s residence with a stunning view over the Kattegat and a prime location right by Gjerrild Nordstrand
