The stunning pinewood floors add a warm and natural at­mosp­he­re to the home.The living room, kitchen, and dining area are combined into one de­light­ful open space, with a crackling wood-burning stove in one corner. The kitchen is well-equipped, making it easy to prepare delicious holiday meals. The living room is furnished with com­fortab­le furniture, perfect for relaxing and enjoying quality time with family. From the living room, you can step out onto the lovely terrace, where an outdoor spa awaits. The bright and modern bathroom features a luxurious spa bath and offers access to a sauna.The house has three com­fortab­le bedrooms – two with double beds and one with two single beds. Ad­di­tio­nal­ly, a spacious annex provides even more sleeping options, with both a double bed and bunk beds.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

Gjerrild Nord­s­trand is a popular and family-friendly area, with Gjerrild Klint being one of Denmark's top spots for birdwat­chers. The beach is a lovely, child-friendly sandy beach with a Blue Flag and scenic dunes. Gjerrild Klint is also one of Djursland's best locations for sea trout fishing.The area offers excellent hiking and biking trails, including the North Sea Trail, which stretches from Udbyhøj by Randers Fjord to Grenaa. A 20-minute drive will take you to the old market town of Grenaa, where you can enjoy charming pe­de­stri­an streets and cozy sidewalk cafés. Visit Museum Østjylland or the Kattegat Center, where you can get up close to sharks, penguins, and seals. From Grenaa’s harbor, ferries connect to Varberg in Sweden and the small island of Anholt. For a fun-filled day, don’t miss Djurs Som­mer­land, Scan­di­navi­a's largest amusement park, just a 30-minute drive from the house. On your way to the house, you’ll pass through the quaint village of Gjerrild, complete with a church, an inn, and a local grocery store – a perfect little slice of Danish charm.
