Løkken is particularly proud of its historical roots, dating back to the 19th century when the town was known for its shipyards. Tversted is a cosy holiday town by the North Sea oozing village atmosphere. You can enjoy the spectacular natural surroundings at Tversted Klitplantage and the Tversted Lakes. Here you can see the fascinating flora and get up close and personal with its small inhabitants. The town centre is extremely charming, and you will quickly discover that the locals are very hospitable, immediately welcoming you here. The town features cosy cafés and ice cream shops where you can samle local delicacies. Art galleries and local arts and craft, in particular, characterise the townscape.
