Whether you're on holiday to relax or enjoy an active lifestyle by the Limfjord, you're in for a lovely stay at Kjeldhøj 103 in Ertebølle. This charming holiday home is located close to both the beach and the forest – and if you're here for fishing, you'll be pleased to know there's a fish cleaning table in the shed.

Welcome inside
From the red wooden facade with white mullioned windows to the cosy interior, the holiday home appears neat and well-kept throughout. Indoors, you have 79 m² to enjoy, and the layout makes it easy for six people to have a wonderful holiday together. At night, you can spread out over three bedrooms, all with double beds, while daytime relaxation can take place in the living room. Here, a wood-burning stove spreads a cosy warmth, and the heat pump, which can both cool and heat, can also be used to adjust the temperature. A well-equipped kitchen is openly connected to the living room, and the floor plan also includes a bathroom with shower and underfloor heating. In the shed, which is connected to the carport, you’ll find a washing machine and dryer – and for anglers, there’s the fish cleaning table.

Enjoy life outside
With 1300 m² of space, the plot is wonderfully large, so if you’re bringing kids or a dog on holiday, there’s plenty of room to run and play on the lawn. The car can be parked in the carport, and when you’re ready for a relaxing break, you can settle down on the wooden terrace that stretches along the south and west sides of the house. The terrace is furnished with comfortable garden furniture, making it a lovely spot for sunbathing during the day and barbecuing in the evening.

Get up close to the local attractions
The holiday home has a peaceful address on a small, closed road in Ertebølle. The village lends its name to the Ertebølle culture, which flourished along the Limfjord in the late Stone Age nearly 7,000 years ago. With a visit to the local Stone Age Centre, you can learn more about this fascinating period, and afterwards explore the stunning coastal landscape and search for fossils at the high cliffs. You also have ample opportunities for swimming and fishing in the local area, and for golf enthusiasts, there are five golf courses within a 30-kilometre radius.

The Limfjord is characterized by a hilly terrain with many beautiful views over Denmark's largest fjord. Here you will find small and large islands, local ferry connections, beautiful bridges, and cozy market towns with small marinas. The fjord, with its many beaches, is surrounded by plantations, fields, and cliffs, which forms the basis for unique nature experiences, on foot, by bike, by boat or by car. The flat, gently sloping beaches are perfect for families with children.
