The large living room is a natural gathering place, whether you want to relax on the sofas, play board games or feel the warmth of the wood-burning stove after a re­fres­hing walk by the sea. The spacious, well-equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare delicious holiday meals, even when a large group is gathering around the dining table. In the activity room, you can challenge one another to a game of pool, table tennis, table football or darts, while the games console on the first floor is sure to prove popular with the family’s gamers. The highlight of the holiday home is the pool area, where children and the young at heart can race down the wa­ter­s­li­de and splash around in the water. After a swim, the adults can unwind in the warm hot tub or enjoy the peace and quiet of the sauna. With three bathrooms, the house is also well suited to large families or groups of friends ho­li­daying together.

Enjoy life outside

The holiday home has several terrace areas around the house, allowing you to follow the sun and find a sheltered spot throug­hout the day. Some of the terraces are open and invite you to sunbathe or enjoy long meals beneath the West Jutland sky, while others are enclosed, allowing the family’s two dogs to stay safely outside with you. Imagine a peaceful morning with freshly brewed coffee as the wind gently moves the marram grass on the dunes directly in front of the house, or a warm summer evening with the barbecue lit and everyone gathered around the garden table to share the day’s ex­pe­ri­en­ces. Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

From the holiday home at Lucievej 14, it is only around 50 metres to the beach and the North Sea, so you can begin and end each day with sand between your toes and the sound of the waves in the ba­ck­gro­und. The location in the first row of dunes makes it easy to head over the dunes whenever you fancy a morning swim, a walk along the water’s edge or a beautiful sunset over the sea. Vejlby Klit is known for its wide sandy beach and at­mosp­he­ric dune landscape, and the area is ideal for walking, cycling and relaxing days sur­ro­un­ded by nature. Shops and a re­stau­rant are also located nearby, making it easy to pick up fresh bread for breakfast or enjoy a meal out. To explore more of the local area around Harboøre, you can visit Thyborøn, where Jyl­landsAkva­ri­et and the SEA WAR Museum tell fa­sci­nat­ing stories about the sea and Denmark’s west coast. Al­ter­na­ti­ve­ly, head to the charming market town of Lemvig with its shops, cafés and lively harbour en­viron­ment.
