Idyllic forest cottage

The holiday home is called "Solsikke" and is intended for guests who love nature; the fur­nis­hin­gs are very simple. It stands on a roughly 2,700 m² natural plot and is at times virtually invisible because of generous planting of trees and bushes. The property is located at the end of a cul‑de‑sac. The beach is about 2 km from the house.

All rooms except the bathroom and entrance area have wooden floors. The living area includes a corner dining nook with benches, a large piano (of interest to musicians as it is playable) and a wood‑burning stove. The cabin does not have TV, but it does have an internet con­nection (Wi‑Fi 500/500 Mbit and SafeSurf). Heating is provided by the wood‑burning stove and electric oil radiators.

There are two small sleeping areas: DB + 3S, each furnished with a ¾ double bed. One of the double beds has an extra length of 220 cm. One of the sleeping rooms also contains a bunk bed.

From the entrance you reach the kitchen area, which is fitted with a cooker with oven and a re­fri­ge­ra­tor that includes a small freezer com­part­ment. A coffee maker is available, but there is no hot water in the kitchen. The bathroom is located to the right of the entrance. A newly renovated bathroom with shower and utility room was completed in 2023 and includes an air‑solar collector.

The natural plot borders a forest area with access to the cycle and footpath from Vejers Strand to Grærup Strand. No cars use this path; it is a trail for cyclists and pe­de­stri­ans only, ideal for observing nature and wildlife. There is a small private shed on the plot with a covered veranda where you can enjoy the sun and tranquil­li­ty. Pets are not allowed. Two parking spaces are available at the entrance to the property. A small terrace area protected by a wooden fence is located by the entrance.

The house was built in 1960 and retains features from that period.
