Holiday home in Sweden by the lake with two mo­tor­bo­ats.

Location
Sur­ro­un­ded by idyllic nature on the shores of the im­pres­si­ve Lake Kalvsjön, the two-storey house Sper­lings­holm stands on a 6,500 m² plot. From the large wooden terrace on the upper floor, you can see the lake gli­ste­ning behind the trees. Here you can enjoy the silence and the direct proximity to nature. The bathing area is shallow and rocky, but deeper water can be reached quickly. There is a jetty for mooring boats or sun­bat­hing. For extended swimming, we recommend the sandy beach at Lom­ma­hol­men, which can be reached by boat in a few minutes, or the other sandy beaches or islands on and in the lake. You can do your shopping at the small ‘Handlarn’ su­per­mar­ket in Kalv, 6.5 km away, or at Ätrans Lant­han­del in Ätran, 15 km away.

Fa­ci­li­ties
With a living area of 90 m², Haus Sper­lings­holm com­fortably ac­com­moda­tes 6 holiday guests, offering both communal areas for so­ci­a­li­sing and quiet corners for solitude. Up to five pets are also permitted. Life mainly takes place on the spacious living floor upstairs. There, you can relax on the corner sofa or armchairs with a good book, in front of the flat-screen TV or in front of the crackling fireplace. The kitchen is opposite the dining area and is equipped with eve­ryt­hing you need to prepare everyday meals. There are also two bathrooms with toilets on the upper floor, one of which has a shower. Two of the three bedrooms are also located on the upper floor. Both have a double bed (con­si­sting of two mattres­ses). The third bedroom is located on the ground floor and is furnished with two single beds and has its own bathroom with shower and toilet. The ground floor and upper floor are spatially separated and can each be accessed from the outside via the terrace on the upper floor or through the garage entrance on the ground floor. A washing machine and a drying rack are available in the laundry room in the garage. In the garden, you can end the day in the barbecue hut, even in rainy weather. A rubber dinghy for 4 people, including a motor (Suzuki 5 hp), is included in the rental price. It is suitable for up to 4 adults, two of whom sit on the bench and two on the tubes with safety lines for their hands, as is customary with rubber dinghies. If the dinghy alone is not suf­fi­ci­ent, a plastic boat for 5 people, including motor, can be ordered in advance for €190 per week by sending us a message. Free Wi-Fi is available.

Special in­for­ma­tion
Arrival and departure are only possible on Saturdays. Pets are welcome. Smoking is not allowed in the house. Final cleaning is included in the price. Bed linen and towels can be provided for €12 per person. A deposit is required, which will be refunded after sett­le­ment of utility costs and handover of the house in impec­cab­le condition. Firewood can be purchased for €1 per basket. Both boats are excluding fuel. The fuel canister is filled and must be left full upon departure.
