House with motor boat by the lake

Location

The holiday home is embedded in the lake and forest-rich landscape of southern Sweden, directly on the clear Lake Tolken. The spacious natural and meadow property is ap­proxi­ma­te­ly 1900 m² in size and is about 30 m from the nearest neighbour. Only about 40 metres separate you from the house's own jetty and rowing boat with electric motor – perfect for relaxing boat trips or fishing days on the lake. Please note that you have to cross a country road to get to the lake.

The sur­ro­un­ding area is ideal for hiking and is par­ti­cu­lar­ly appealing to those who enjoy picking mushrooms or berries. Excur­sions take you to places such as the Hyltenäs hills, one of the most beautiful viewpo­ints in western Sweden. In summer, a tra­di­tio­nal dance event takes place twice a month at the nearby Hjortnäs fair­gro­und by the lake – a real highlight for culture lovers. The nearest shopping fa­ci­li­ties are about 10 km away in Älekulla. The nearest North Sea beach is about 35 km away, Varberg is about 40 km away, Borås is about 60 km away, Go­t­hen­burg is about 80 km away and Hels­ing­borg is about 170 km away.

Fa­ci­li­ties

This com­fortab­le holiday home was built in 1962 and offers eve­ryt­hing you need for a relaxing stay, with around 57 m² of living space plus 11 m² in the separate guest house. It has three rooms including a kitchen and a bathroom with toilet, and the guest house offers an ad­di­tio­nal room. In the main house, you sleep in a bedroom with a double bed, and in the guest house there is another double bed – ideal for couples or small families.

The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with a ceramic hob, oven, dis­hwas­her, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee machine and toaster. A dining table with a view of the lake makes every meal a special ex­pe­ri­en­ce. The living room offers a cosy seating area, satellite TV, a wood-burning stove and also a wonderful view of the lake.

The bathroom has a toilet, shower and washing machine. The house has central heating and a wood-burning stove for cosy warmth on cooler days.

The outdoor area includes two verandas, a garden pavilion, garden furniture, barbecue, a play and sun­bat­hing area, and a private jetty with a boat (Linder Fishing 410) and electric motor. There is a parking space directly at the house. Four adult bicycles can be provided on site upon request.

Important in­for­ma­tion

Smoking is not permitted in the holiday home or guest house. Pets are not allowed. Electri­ci­ty, water, bed linen and towels are included in the rental price, so you don't have to worry about a thing. Final cleaning costs €90. You are free to choose your arrival and departure days.
