Welcome inside
The summer house is built of stone and is very well insulated. It features a com­fortab­le and practical heat pump in the living area, which also helps keep energy costs low. There are 3 bedrooms in the main house with good beds and mattres­ses. In addition, there is a newer annex by the house with a double bed. The summer house is rented out only to 6 people. There is a practical utility room with plenty of space for footwear, outerwear, and various luggage. The house’s washing machine is located here. The bathroom is well-designed and sensible. The kitchen and living room are combined and face south, offering a fantastic view over Lim­fjor­den, which is truly unique. Large panoramic windows allow in­cre­dib­le natural light into the house and bring the view right up to the dining table and sofa area. Here you can really lose yourself in the beautiful nature and the vast sky over Thy, con­stant­ly changing and re­flecting in Lim­fjor­den. Light wood floors and white walls and ceilings, along with modern and typically Scan­di­navi­an decor, complete the ex­pe­ri­en­ce of this de­light­ful summer house in every way. The house has both Apple TV and free, high-speed wireless internet, making it easy to stream all the channels and programs you don’t want to miss during your holiday.

Enjoy life outside
The summer house is situated on a lawned plot with plenty of space for games and ball play. From the living room, you have direct access to a very large terrace, equipped with a grill, parasol, garden furniture, and sun loungers. There are 2 kayaks available for use, but entirely at your own risk. Several life jackets are provided.
The garden is fenced, so the dog can run freely!

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
The holiday home is located in the small holiday cottage area of Doverodde, right by the Limfjord in southern Thy. The area consists of around 50 lovely holiday homes, all situated on a slope des­cen­ding towards the Limfjord. This provides plenty of space between the houses and lovely views from many locations. Only a few of the houses in this area are rented out, which makes it a par­ti­cu­lar­ly popular location.
In addition, Doverodde has its own marina, making it ideal for guests who wish to bring their own boat or kayak. As a special highlight, you can visit SMK Thy, the new extension of Denmark’s National Gallery. We invite you to explore the art by visiting the exhi­bi­tions as well as enjoying the beautiful natural sur­ro­un­dings of the museum.

Shopping and dining options can be found in the nearby town of Hurup, which also offers the popular Sydthy Swimming Pool and the Sydthy Golf Club with an 18-hole course. Heading west across Thy, you will reach the coastal town of Agger and the North Sea, which is also a popular excursion desti­na­tion.
