Description
Here you can enjoy your holiday in a house where every detail has been thought of. There is peace and quiet and only 350 meters to the cozy Stavreby Harbor - and even shorter to the well-visited restaurant Muldiverset - remember to book a table.
Welcome inside
The house has high ceilings in more ways than one. You enter a small entrance hall with a tiled floor, which leads you into a fantastic and bright kitchen-dining room with a high ceiling. In this room you can be together over today's meals while you plan your holiday experiences. On cooler days you can gather in the sofa corner by the bio fireplace, read a good book, watch a film and enjoy a cup of coffee or tea.
On the ground floor there is also a lovely bedroom with a double elevation bed, and it is also on the ground floor that you will find the house's bathroom with a wall-mounted toilet and built-in shower. On the 1st floor there are 2 further bedrooms with double beds, where you can retreat - but at the same time there is a view down to the kitchen-dining room.
The owners, who built the house themselves and put love into the details, have endeavored to make it senior-friendly with all the essential functions on the ground floor, good space in the bathroom, wide doors and also a ramp that gives level-free access to the house.
Enjoy life outside
From the kitchen-dining room you step directly out onto a lovely tiled terrace with a view over fields and the forest. The terrace is ideal for when you want to enjoy the warm days and balmy evenings. On the terrace, there is also a wilderness bath, where you can sit and look at the starry sky and enjoy the silence with a glass of wine. The adjacent garden has beautiful old trees, and although the garden is not part of the lease, you are free to use it. The garden is also occasionally used by the owners Rikke and Anders.
Get close to the local experiences
The area around Stavreby village offers many nature experiences, and there are plenty of opportunities for good walks. Jungshoved is a small peninsula that juts out at Præstø - right in the middle between Stevn's cliff and Møn's cliff. It is less than a kilometer to Jungshoved's old castle bank and approx. 7 to Roneklint with bird sanctuary and beach.
Only 8 km from Stavreby you will find the old, cozy market town of Præstø, which offers good shopping opportunities, a shopping street, an ice house, a marina, cafés and restaurants. Half an hour's drive from Stavreby is Skovtårnet and Camp Adventure, which are definitely worth a visit. Vordingborg with Denmark's Castle Center and the Goose Tower can also be recommended as excursion destinations. Since Copenhagen is only an hour's drive from the house, there is a good opportunity to take a day trip there and, for example, visit Tivoli.
