This lovely holiday home offers a warm at­mosp­he­re and a great layout, making it easy to feel at home at Kæruldvej 23 in Hulsig. Set well back from the road on a huge natural plot, the house offers peaceful sur­ro­un­dings and even has a sauna to help you unwind and relax.

Welcome inside
With such pleasant and tranquil sur­ro­un­dings, you’ll quickly ease into holiday mode. Much of your stay can be spent enjoying board games in the living room, relaxing in the sauna, and sharing quality time in the open-plan kitchen while preparing meals together. The wood-burning stove will keep you warm on chilly days, while the flat-screen TV provides en­tertain­ment on cosy nights in front of a film. There are three bedrooms in total, with the two largest located at opposite ends of the hallway – making the layout ideal for two couples ho­li­daying together, for instance.

Enjoy life outside
From the kitchen and one of the bedrooms, there’s direct access to a northwest-facing terrace, while the living room opens onto another terrace to the south. In other words, you’ll have every op­portu­ni­ty to make the most of the sun – whether that means lounging in a deckchair, getting lost in a gripping crime novel, or treating the family to a grilled dinner under the open sky. The plot is im­pres­si­ve­ly large and beau­ti­ful­ly natural, and there’s even a swing set available for the youngest guests to enjoy.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
Hulsig is a wonderful base whether you’re drawn to endless sandy beaches, outdoor ad­ven­tu­res, cultural at­tra­ctions, or something entirely different. The local car-free beach facing the Kattegat is ideal for children with its shallow water, soft sand, and gentle dunes – and if you’re also tempted by a swim in the North Sea, it’s just a 10-minute drive to Kan­de­ste­der­ne. Råbjerg Mile and Bunken Plantage are even closer for scenic hikes, and if you follow the beautiful landscape nort­hwards, you can reach Skagen to admire the iconic Skagen Painters’ works and soak up the unique charm of the town.

Remember, you can always borrow handcarts, hig­h­chairs, and baby cots from your nearest Fe­ri­e­part­ner office. You’re welcome to pick them up at the bureau and return them again when your holiday is over.
