A holiday gem in the middle of nature and close to two beaches

With the scent of spruce and sea, your soul, mind and senses will really go on holiday in this ar­chi­tecto­nic gem of a holiday house, located on a spacious, un­du­lat­ing nature plot with heather, and so close to the sea that the roaring of the waves is mingling with the whistling of the wind in the high spruces. The beach towards Kattegat is only a few minutes away, and after a walk towards south, the waves of Sejerø Bay are tempting you. And maybe you will meet a roe deer, a hare or a squirrel on the path. In any way, you will shift into a lower gear…

Welcome inside

The holiday house with light, air and long views directly into nature was designed by a prize-winning architect and houses under the common roof – and with common entrance area – the new part to one side with living room, kitchen/family room, bedroom and the bathroom of the house. To the other side you have the original charming house with a double bed, a cosy sitting group and a small kitchen – perfect if you are two couples or brought teenagers along. Both sides of the holiday house are furnished to please the eye with fine colours and personal details that raise your spirits.

Furt­her­more, there is a small annex with a junior bed and plenty of toys, games, fishing gear and bathing shoes plus webbed feet in all sizes.

Enjoy life outside

Outside there are parasols, sun beds, a sandbox, a barbecue, outdoor kitchen with cold water and an outside shower with sun-heated water, and on the big nature plot there are several cosy corners for sun, shelter or shade. You can also sit under a porch roof, if the dew is falling or a shower occurs. A part of the inner-plot is fenced for small dogs.

Get close to the local at­tra­ctions

Overby Lyng, the location of the holiday house, is the long, narrow part of Sjællands Odde between Lumsaas and Havnebyen, an at­tra­cti­ve holiday house area, because it is framed by the blue waves of Kattegat towards north and the tempting waves of Sejerø Bay towards south. Sjællands Odde offers the latest and most beautiful sunsets on Zealand, un­du­lat­ing landsca­pes, good angling spots and fine po­s­si­bi­li­ties for acti­vi­ties on land and at sea, such as sailing and sea kayak. The area also offers good farm shops, art galleries, a life-style boutique where you can make your own candles, a vineyard and the charming fishing village Havnebyen with a yachting harbour, re­stau­rants, a smo­ke­hou­se plus freshly caught fish from the fis­h­mon­ger or the cutters.
