A former children’s holiday camp now invites to cosy holiday only 550m from wonderful beach

”Vin­kel­hu­set”, located in the middle of the beautiful Geopark Odsherred, offers original holiday house at­mosp­he­re with plenty of nature and a giant plot, where the kids can run around.

Interior
The house, renovated in 2021, contains a large kitchen with dis­hwas­her, micro wave, gas cooker and re­fri­ge­ra­tor as well as access to the garden. The freezer is in the basement. There are two reception rooms, one fun­ctio­ning as a dining room with a cosy snug and a wood burner, the other as a cosy lounge with sofa bed and TV. The bathroom has a toilet and shower as well as exit to the garden. There are 2 good bedrooms with re­specti­ve­ly a double bed and a bunk bed. There are no actual terraces around the house but several areas with garden furniture. The huge garden with secret corners and a bonfire setting invites to playing and staying for children as well as adults.

The area / Location
The house is located in the fantastic UNESCO Global Geopark Odsherred, where there is plenty of walking and bicycle routes in the in­te­r­e­sting and un­du­lat­ing landscape. Visit Ordrup Næs or walk the Ridge Trail, where you walk in types of landsca­pes typically created by the edge of a glacier. There are several lovely sandy beaches in the area. In the cosy village Ordrup close to the holiday house, you can enjoy a glass of foaming draught beer or eat a delicious lunch in one of the re­stau­rants during summer.

In Kårup forest there is a nature play­gro­und and good op­portu­ni­ty to see the local animals. Also visit Vejrhøj, the highest point in Odsherred, and let yourself get carried away by the panoramic view of Sejerø Bay with the islands Nekselø and Sejerø but also the inland view where, in clear weather, you can spot up to 27 church spires. The area is well-filled with farm shops, wine producers, micro breweries and local artists. The children will love to spend a day in the amusement park Som­mer­land Sjælland, which has been elected the family ex­pe­ri­en­ce of the year. Nykøbing Sjælland offers excellent shopping fa­ci­li­ties, local spe­ci­a­li­ties and several really good re­stau­rants.
