About 10 ki­lo­me­ters west of the holiday home is Samsø Golf Club – one of Denmark’s most beau­ti­ful­ly located golf courses. Here, you can combine nature ex­pe­ri­en­ces with a round of golf in stunning sur­ro­un­dings.

In southern Samsø, you’ll find several charming villages with small shops, cafés, and galleries. For example, visit Besser north of Ballen or Brundby with the legendary Rockhotel, which hosts concerts year-round.

Just fifteen ki­lo­me­ters from the holiday home is Tra­neb­jerg, Samsø’s largest town. Here you’ll find good shopping, Samsø Museum, and the island’s tourist in­for­ma­tion.

The island is easy to explore by bike, allowing you to ex­pe­ri­en­ce the many charming towns and Samsø’s unique at­mosp­he­re. In the north of the island, you’ll find out­stan­ding natural scenery – don’t miss a walk in the Nordby Hills, a unique Ice Age landscape with beautiful trails and specta­cu­lar views of Issehoved, Samsø’s nort­her­n­most point. When hunger strikes, charming Nordby offers several good re­stau­rants and small shops with local products.
