This charming and well-located holiday home in the at­tra­cti­ve area of Maarup on Samsø provides the perfect setting for a relaxing vacation in an authentic en­viron­ment. You will stay in a classic log house with a wood-burning stove, cozy fur­nis­hin­gs, and a large, enclosed garden with plenty of space for play and re­laxa­tion.

The house is only 200 meters from the beautiful Maarup Øster­strand, where you can enjoy long walks along the water and ex­pe­ri­en­ce the unique nature of the northern part of the island.

The natural gathering place of the house is the living room, where the wood-burning stove creates warmth and a cozy at­mosp­he­re on cool days. There is plenty of op­portu­ni­ty to relax with games, a good book, or a movie on the TV, which offers both Danish and German channels. Free WiFi is, of course, available throug­hout the house.

The living room is open to the kitchen and dining area, with seating for six around the table – perfect for enjoyable holiday meals and so­ci­a­lizing.

The kitchen is fully equipped with a dis­hwas­her, microwave, freezer, coffee machine, and eve­ryt­hing else you need to prepare holiday meals easily and con­ve­ni­ent­ly.

The holiday home has three bedrooms: two with double beds and one with two single beds. In addition, there is a bathroom, living room, and kitchen.

The large wooden terraces around the house let you follow the sun from morning to evening. Here, you can dine outdoors, relax in deck chairs, or simply enjoy the sur­ro­un­ding nature. At the entrance, there is an ad­di­tio­nal terrace, ideal for morning coffee and quiet mornings.

Explore the local area

The holiday home is located in the peaceful area of Mårup in northern Samsø, only 500 meters from a lovely beach where you can take a re­fres­hing dip whenever you like.

Nearby are the Nordby Hills, offering beautiful hiking trails through the rolling landscape shaped during the Ice Age. From here, you can enjoy specta­cu­lar views over the Kattegat.

In the village of Maarup, you will find a Dagli’Brugs su­per­mar­ket with year-round shopping, as well as bicycle rental, galleries, and cozy cafés. Take a trip to Nordby with its small shops, half-timbered houses, and cafés by the village pond. In the southern part of the island lies Tra­neb­jerg, Samsø’s largest town, with a wide selection of shops and specialty stores.

The southern part of the island also offers many excellent re­stau­rants, and in Ballen, there is vibrant summer life with re­stau­rants and concerts near the harbor. Just north of Ballen is Samsø Golf Club, featuring an 18-hole course in a beautiful natural setting.
