Log cabin with hot tub and wooded natural plot
House-ID: LF14362If you want to spend your holiday in the deep, peaceful calm of the forest — while still having easy access to both city life and a child-friendly beach — then you should definitely take a closer look at this charming log cabin, situated quietly on a wooded natural plot just a few kilometres from Glyngøre.
Welcome inside
It’s not only the natural surroundings that are idyllic; the holiday home itself charms with its dark log facade and green roof — as if it’s almost blended completely into the landscape. Inside, there are rustic wooden walls, vaulted ceilings, and cosy interiors, including a wood-burning stove that will surely turn a break with a good book into a particularly atmospheric experience. A modern kitchen is open to the living room, and in a nook you’ll find the dining table, where you and your loved ones can gather and share a delicious meal. A bathroom with a shower is located just off the entrance, and finally, there are two good bedrooms, making the layout perfect for four people.
Enjoy life outside
From the holiday home, you can look straight out into all the greenery — but when the weather is sunny and summery, it’s naturally tempting to move your leisure time outdoors so all your senses can come alive. Enjoy the birdsong from the treetops and feel the sun warm your body as you relax on the terrace with a cup of fragrant coffee or the taste of a refreshing ice cream. Adjacent to the living room is a partly covered terrace, which can quickly become your favourite seating spot — unless you fall in love with the picnic table set standing in the shade of the deciduous trees. And of course, there is the hot tub, which looks especially inviting in the evening darkness, because there’s nothing more soothing than a warm bath under a starry sky.
Get up close to the local attractions
The natural plot is larger than most, and the holiday home is therefore completely secluded among the forest trees. At the same time, it’s easy to get out on adventures — whether you want to run or cycle through the open farmland, or if you feel like lounging on a lovely beach with views of the Limfjord. There is good swimming at Glyngøre, and if you want to fish or kayak during your stay, both are popular activities in the area. Glyngøre Waterpark is called Scandinavia’s largest water playground, and here you and your family can have fun — unless you prefer to stay on land to play golf at Harre Vig Golf Club or visit Jesperhus Flower Park.
