Lovely holiday house located in very at­tra­cti­ve area in Rørvig

This lovely holiday house is located in a very at­tra­cti­ve area in Rørvig, close to the harbour with the wonderful maritime en­viron­ment and close to several of the fantastic sandy beaches. Here you have every po­s­si­bi­li­ty to enjoy life and ex­pe­ri­en­ce the many things, the area has to offer.

Interior
The house contains a very cosy living room, where you can lose yourself in a good book and enjoy a café latte. In con­nection with the living room you have a very nice kitchen where you can all help each other prepare a good lunch. From the living room you have access to a lovely terrace, divided into several sections, where you have the chance to spot squirrels and deer, regularly crossing the garden, or just enjoy the sun from morning till evening, while the children are playing in the garden. There are 2 good bedrooms, both with double beds, and a nice bathroom with shower. Eve­ryt­hing stands light and very inviting. The house is located on a large and beautiful natural plot with paths around the property.

Location / the area
The holiday house is located in a quiet area only 2000m from a perfect sandy beach. Rørvig is a part of the beautiful Geopark Odsherred, Denmark’s first UNESCO Geopark. Here you find an abundance of exciting at­tra­ctions and fantastic ex­pe­ri­en­ce-routes in the unique landscape. Try f.inst. a walk to Skan­se­ha­ge or around the lovely Dybesø Lake. At the harbour in Rørvig the children can fish for crabs, while you shop at the fis­h­mon­ger’s, and you can also take the small ferry to Hundested. There are many really good re­stau­rants in Rørvig, and during summer the very popular flee market is on every Sunday. In Nykøbing Sj. there is really good shopping with several in­de­pen­dent shops with local produce and han­di­craft. Hempel Glass Museum at Anneberg with Glas­Spi­ren for the children or Odsherred Museum with the history of the region is certainly also worth a visit. The children will love a day in the amusement park Som­mer­land Sjælland, which has been elected to Denmark’s best activity for children.

Also taste the large variety of locally produced food and wines and visit the farm shops in the beautiful landscape. Find the exciting museums such as Ma­ler­gaar­den, the original home of the artist family Swane. You can also visit the finding place of the Sun Chariot with its scenic gates and enjoy a walk in the sur­ro­un­ding landscape.
