The cottage is a charming example from 1968, con­si­sting of two bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen, and a lovely corner living room. All rooms appear neat and well-main­tai­ned, and the classic fur­nis­hin­gs help create a cozy at­mosp­he­re indoors – beau­ti­ful­ly com­ple­men­ted by the wood stove, the rustic beam con­structions of the ceiling, and other mood-setting details. The living room and kitchen, which were mo­der­nized during the house renova­tion in 1999, are separated by a half wall, so while you are cooking, you can also keep up with the holiday acti­vi­ties and family fun. And when the delicious dishes are ready to be served, you can set the dining table with the house's special porcelain – because such details are, of course, also present in this thought­ful­ly decorated cottage.

Enjoy life outside
From the living room, you have direct access to a partially covered terrace facing southwest, making it great for soaking up the sun. The terrace is sheltered by a windbreak, which doesn't obstruct the view of the un­du­lat­ing landscape, where deer often come to visit. There are several other sunlit sitting areas on the 2600 m² natural plot, and a parasol is available if you need some shade.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
Ve­ster­he­de is a scenic area at the southern end of Rømø, so it's just 2.5 ki­lo­me­ters to Havneby's excellent selection of re­stau­rants, as well as su­per­mar­kets and fish shops. Even closer are a local grocery store and Rømø's popular bakery, where you can pick up fresh rolls for your holiday breakfast. If you want to get to the beautiful Sønder­strand, the journey can take place along cozy, small gravel roads – and you can stop at the nearby Vråby Plan­ta­tion and climb Sta­geb­jerg, which at 18 meters is one of Rømø's highest points. Overall, the house is perfectly located for you to enjoy hiking among heather, dunes, and pine trees.
