Cosy wooden house in the heart of Sweden

Location

This classic holiday home is located in the village of Ramsberg in the Berg­sla­gen region, about 2.5 hours west of Stockholm, close to a lake and sur­ro­un­ded by beautiful nature, inviting you to enjoy wonderful holidays in both summer and winter. The lakeside resort at Ölsjö is only 500 metres away. There is a bathing beach with a jetty, diving platform, play­gro­und and kiosk. At the kiosk, you can also book sessions in the public mixed sauna and hire rowing boats, kayaks and SUP boards. We will be happy to provide you with the contact details for the rental service on request after you have completed your booking. The rental prices can be found in the important in­for­ma­tion section below. You can do your shopping at the 24-hour self-service shop in Ramsberg (card payment only). Further shopping op­portu­ni­ties, re­stau­rants and cultural at­tra­ctions can be found in the town of Lin­des­berg, 25 minutes away, and of course in the sur­ro­un­ding towns of Örebro and Nora. Activity lovers will enjoy the hiking trails and mountain bike tracks in the area. There are also several historic mines and villages to visit in the sur­ro­un­ding area.

Fa­ci­li­ties

With 65 m² of space and a small guest house, the house offers enough room for 6 people. You can spend long autumn or winter evenings together in the living room on the sofa and armchairs playing games, reading good books or watching te­le­vi­sion, while the large wood-burning stove fills the room with cosy warmth. Al­ter­na­ti­ve­ly, the energy-efficient heat pump can take care of this. You can prepare your meals in the semi-open kitchen, which contains eve­ryt­hing you need to prepare and serve common dishes, including a re­fri­ge­ra­tor, oven, electric stove, microwave, kettle and filter coffee machine. The large dining table in the living room com­fortably seats all six holiday guests. The bathroom has a toilet and a shower cubicle. There are two bedrooms in the main house, one with a double bed and the other with a bunk bed. The guest house for two people is located a little further back on the property and consists of one room with a bunk bed. At the rear of the house is a small terrace with seating and an awning facing west, where you can enjoy the sun or relax on long summer evenings. You can park your car in the carport. Free WiFi is available.

Electri­ci­ty 0,40 EUR per kWh. Will be deducted from the deposit.

Bed linen and towels must be brought with you.

An optional final cleaning service can be booked for 80 EUR. As this is carried out by a private in­di­vi­du­al, it must be requested before or im­me­di­a­te­ly after making the booking for planning purposes.

Smoking is not permitted in the house.

No rental to youth or worker groups.

Waste se­pa­ra­tion is mandatory in this house at the request of the local authority. Failure to comply will result in the deposit being retained in part or in full.

Sauna raft

Open for drop-in sauna every Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. for SEK 40.

The sauna raft can also be hired until 5 p.m. for 3 hours for only SEK 500.
