The area
In the area near Tommerup Denmark´s bird zoo, Frydenlund Fuglepark, is worth a visit. It is a park with many different birds and an exciting exhibition of old Danish farming utensils. Here you can enjoy your home-made food on one of the tables or use the barbecue facilities. In Glamsbjerg you find Denmark´s Skoda museum. Funen´s "capital" Odense is only 18 kilometres away from the house with lots of attractions. You can visit Denmark´s most beautiful zoo, sail on the river or visit the Hans Christian Andersen´s house where the neighbourhood is an attraction in itself with paved alleys and old houses.
