Architectural and authentic holiday home close to Aarhus - at Mariendal Beach
House-ID: 30081Interior
We welcome you to this lovely older summer house designed by the architect A. C. Nielsen.
The house consists of a fully equipped kitchen in direct connection with the living room. In the kitchen there is a dishwasher. In the living room there is a wood stove and hot air, which can quickly provide a comfortable warmth in the house. From the living room and the terrace there is a sea view.
The summer house has a newer bathroom with underfloor heating.
There are 4 bedrooms in the house, which means that if someone does not want to sleep in the same room, there is the possibility to sleep separately.
Outdoor
You will have a great time in this garden. There is a large covered terrace so here is always the possibility to find shelter and shade. There are several sets of garden furniture which makes it comfortable to enjoy the holidays.
Food can be cooked on the barbecue or on the fire place down in the garden, which is sure to be a hit with the kids for bread baking or roasting marshmellows.
The garden is also sure to invite you to play games and socialise, whether or not there are children with you on holiday.
There you also find an outdoor hot tube, which can be used all year round
Location
The Ajstrup Beach area is close to the forest, beach and the city of Aarhus, which offers countless opportunities for shopping and cultural experiences.
The scenic location is also not to be overlooked. It is a beautiful area that invites you to a lot of exciting activities.
The summer house is close to Aarhus and the bus runs several times a day. For example, take the bus into Aarhus and enjoy coffee or lunch by Aaen, the stream in the centre of town, then take a stroll along the shopping street or Bruuns Galleri with its many shopping opportunities.
We also recommend visiting the AROS art museum and the Musikhuset, located in the city centre.
Only 14 km. from the house is Odder which offers bowling and mini golf in "Kuglen & Keglen", swimming pool, golf course, Denmark's largest Kvickly department store and shopping opportunities on the town's cozy pedestrian street.
Legoland, Givskud Zoo, Djurs Sommerland, Kattegatcentret and many other major attractions are within driving distance from Ajstrup.

Recommendations from Holiday home owner
Welcome inside our holiday home. We love music, so we have a couple of instruments in the living room as part of the interior. It feels completely natural for us to take the guitar down from the wall and play a song while sitting on the sofa and enjoying the warmth from the wood-burning stove.
Another thing we really love about the house is the covered terrace, where a tree has grown up above the pergola and almost forms a natural green roof. On a summer day, sitting out here with your morning coffee can almost give you the feeling of being on holiday somewhere further south. It is also wonderful to sit in the warm water of the outdoor hot tub in the evening, once darkness has fallen, and look up at the starry sky.
We hope that guests will feel at home here and enjoy our little retreat just as much as we do.
