Welcome inside
Inside, you’ll find a house with plenty of space for the entire family to gather. The living room connects to the dining area and kitchen, so you can be part of the family life whether you’re cooking, sitting around the dining table, or relaxing on the sofa. The large windows let in plenty of natural light, and on cooler days, the fireplace provides warmth and a classic cottage at­mosp­he­re. Sleeping fa­ci­li­ties are spread across four bedrooms and a sleeping loft, and with two bathrooms, there’s plenty of space when several people are staying together. In one of the bathrooms, you’ll find a hot tub that seats two people, as well as access to the sauna. Here, you can end the day with warmth and re­laxa­tion after a re­fres­hing walk by the sea or a day full of ad­ven­tu­res.

Enjoy life outside
The patio offers plenty of space for the entire family to gather for meals or find their own favorite spot in the sun. The living room opens directly onto the open terrace, and the house also features a covered patio area so you can enjoy the fresh air even when the weather is a bit un­pre­di­ctab­le. In the garden, the good times continue with space for both play and re­laxa­tion. Here, the little ones can have fun with the play­gro­und equipment, while the grass provides space for ball games and other acti­vi­ties. As evening ap­pro­a­ches, you can gather the family around the fire pit and enjoy the special at­mosp­he­re that arises as the flames crackle and the day ends. If you’d like to make your vacation home ex­pe­ri­en­ce a little more ad­ven­tu­rous, three people can spend the night in the shelter and wake up sur­ro­un­ded by fresh air.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
Saksild Beach is just a short walk from the house, so it’s easy to make swimming and beach life a natural part of your vacation. The long sandy beach is perfect for eve­ryt­hing, from a morning dip and building sandcast­les to walks along the coast. At Saksild Beach, you’ll also find re­stau­rants, ice cream shops, and Denmark’s oldest mini-golf course, where you can challenge the rest of the family to a vacation com­pe­ti­tion. If you’re up for a trip, head to Norsminde to enjoy the at­mosp­he­re at the small harbor or visit Odder, with its shops and re­stau­rants. Aarhus is also within easy driving distance, and there you can visit ARoS and Den Gamle By, among other at­tra­ctions. This way, you can combine peaceful days at the beach with local ex­pe­ri­en­ces, culture, and city life.
