Newly renovated bright holiday home close to the harbour town of Hou and very close to the beach

This lovely holiday home was newly renovated in 2019 and completed in 2020, so eve­ryt­hing is new, bright and friendly.

The living room has plenty of natural light and is directly connected to the kitchen. Both the living room and the kitchen have access to the large connected wooden terrace that is next to the living room and kitchen.

There are three good bedrooms. Two of them have direct access to terraces facing east and west re­specti­ve­ly.

Spacious bathroom and utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Children chair, cot and baby bath available.

Enjoy life outside
Large newly landsca­ped wooden terrace that surrounds the entire holiday home. Outside the kitchen, the terrace is also covered.Outdoor kitchen table with hot and cold water. In the garden there is a sandpit for the little ho­li­day­ma­kers. The holiday home overlooks the fields.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
The holiday home is located in the small harbour town of Hou, which is cha­ra­cte­ri­sed by a lovely marina and good shopping op­portu­ni­ties. The beach is child-friendly and there is a nice jetty. Close by is Hou Strand Camping, which has a very good play­gro­und - there is also a jetty here.

From the holiday home you can walk or bike along the beach to the harbour and town. - On the way you will pass Egmont Højskolen, which is famous for its unique op­portu­ni­ties for the disabled - here you will find Vandhalla - the large swimming pool for the disabled, which is open to everyone.

The path follows the water to the harbour, where there are daily de­par­tu­res to both Tunø and Samsø. It is highly recom­men­ded to take a day trip to both islands, which are very different. Tunø is car-free and you can walk around the island in a couple of hours. Samsø is known for its ve­ge­tab­les. The trip to both islands takes about an hour.

When you holiday in Hou, you are also close to most of East Jutland's many at­tra­ctions, such as Legoland, Løveparken, Den Gamle By, Horsens Prison, Aros Art Museum in Aarhus and many more. Only 8 km away is the good shopping town of Odder with many su­per­mar­kets and a lovely pe­de­stri­an street.
