Inside, you’ll find a cozy and relaxed holiday home at­mosp­he­re. The living room opens directly into the kitchen, so you can easily join in the fun while the meals of the day are being prepared. The fireplace helps create a warm at­mosp­he­re on cooler days, when you can find a cozy spot on the sofa and enjoy the peace and quiet after a walk along the beach. The house has room for four guests in two bedrooms. A special feature of the house is the large sunroom, where the wide windows open to a view of the garden and let in plenty of natural light. Here, you can enjoy breakfast, gather around a game, or settle in with a book while still feeling close to outdoor life. The sunroom provides the house with an extra space that can quickly become one of your favorite spots during your vacation.

Enjoy life outside
The large, partly enclosed yard offers plenty of space for both re­laxa­tion and acti­vi­ties. On the grass, you can play ball, play with the kids, or simply spread out a blanket and enjoy the sun, so there are plenty of op­portu­ni­ties to gather the family for both playtime and cozy evenings under the open sky. Around the house, there are several small spots where you can find sun or shelter, and there’s also a covered patio in the former garage. Here, you can sit outside even when the weather is a bit un­pre­di­ctab­le. In other words, the garden gives you plenty of op­portu­ni­ties to enjoy your vacation at your own pace.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
From the holiday home, there are only about 250 meters to the coast and the lovely sandy beach, so a morning dip or a spon­ta­neous trip to the water can quickly become a regular part of your vacation. The area around Rude Strand and Saksild Strand is perfect for walks along the coast, relaxing days at the beach, and vacations where nature takes center stage. At Saksild Strand, you’ll find re­stau­rants, ice cream, and mini golf, among other things, and you can also take a trip to Norsminde to explore the small harbor and the fjord. If you’re in the mood for a longer trip, Aarhus, Djurs Som­mer­land, and LEGOLAND are all within driving distance, and from Hou you can take the ferry to Tunø and explore the car-free island on foot or by bike.
