Indoors, you are greeted by a warm and inviting at­mosp­he­re, where the color orange sets the tone—a recurring element that un­der­sco­res the home's cheerful and sunny expres­sion. The bright interior combines modern design with a whimsical retro twist, creating a unique charm. There is room for both re­laxa­tion and to­get­her­ness—whether you want to immerse yourself in a good book or enjoy con­ver­sa­tions in good company.

The in­te­gra­ted sunroom brings the garden right into the living room, allowing you to enjoy the light and sur­ro­un­dings—even on rainy days. Light up the wood-burning stove and let the dancing flames spread warmth and ambiance well into the evening.

The well-equipped kitchen has direct access to a covered terrace, perfect for morning coffee. We recommend a trip to Saksild for fresh morning bread—either from Bagergården, mastering classic crafts­mans­hip, or the micro-bakery Groft, where sourdough takes center stage.

From the covered terrace, there is also access to a practical utility room with a washing machine and dryer—and here you will also find the entrance to the holiday home's toilet and bathroom. All under cover, but with access from outside.

Enjoy life outside

Outside, you'll find both a lovely covered terrace—naturally with orange details—and a beautiful sun terrace where the sun can be enjoyed to the fullest. Here, everyday life quickly fades away, and the holiday spirit unfolds.

The large garden offers space for both ball games and relaxing moments in the sun. Whether you're into playing with the kids or a quiet moment with a good book, there's plenty of room for it all.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

The holiday home is located in the classic holiday home area of Saksild—a place where the authentic Danish summer at­mosp­he­re still thrives. Here, you can swim at East Jutland's best beach and play mini-golf at Denmark's oldest course—a fun and nostalgic ex­pe­ri­en­ce for the whole family.

Visit Strandgården's roadside stand and fill your basket with fresh, local ve­ge­tab­les. Rent a stand-up pad­dle­bo­ard at Strands­hop­pen—the shallow and calm waters at Saksild are ideal for both beginners and ex­pe­ri­en­ced paddlers. If you're in the mood for an excursion, you can visit the new public park in Odder, which opened in 2024. Here, there's room for play, to­get­her­ness, and re­laxa­tion—in the midst of greenery.
