Welcome inside
Inside, you’ll find a classic summer cottage with simple, relaxed decor where it’s easy to feel at home. The kitchen opens directly into the living area, so you can be part of the con­ver­sa­tion whether you’re cooking or have already found a cozy spot on the sofa. The fireplace helps create that special holiday home at­mosp­he­re on cooler days, when you can let the fire crackle as the holiday calmly sets in. The house has three bedrooms as well as an annex, so there are plenty of op­portu­ni­ties to make yourself at home and find your own space as the day ends. Here, the vacation isn’t about grand gestures, but about that familiar, relaxed feeling of being at a summer house.

Enjoy life outside
The sur­ro­un­ding area offers great op­portu­ni­ties. Here you’ll find both an open wooden deck and a covered patio, so you can choose where to sit based on the sun, the weather, and your mood. Start your day with breakfast under the open sky, find shade under the covered patio in the middle of the day, or enjoy the long summer evenings around the table on the patio. The lush garden with bushes and trees enhances the relaxed cottage at­mosp­he­re and offers space for both play and quiet moments. When the beach bag calls, the water is just a short walk away. A trip to the beach can therefore easily become a regular part of your vacation day, whether you’re in the mood for a morning dip, an afternoon in the sand, or an evening stroll along the coast.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
The house serves as a great base for exploring Saksild Beach, Rude Beach, and the rest of the Odder Coast. In Saksild, you can try Denmark's oldest mini-golf course, and along the coast you'll find great op­portu­ni­ties for biking and walking with views of Tunø and Samsø, among other sights. You can also take a trip to Odder, which is about a 10-minute drive from Rude, or head toward Aarhus if you’re looking for a day of shopping, culture, and city life. If you prefer smaller, local ex­pe­ri­en­ces, there are also plenty of farm shops and re­stau­rants in the area. Here, you can easily combine quiet days at the house with short trips and new vacation ex­pe­ri­en­ces.
