Welcome to a welcoming holiday home in a lovely location in Saksild, close to a beautiful sandy beach.

The holiday home sleeps six guests in three bedrooms, each with a double bed. One of the bedrooms has direct access to the bathroom. There is also an annexe in the garden with two ad­di­tio­nal sleeping places.

The living room has a sofa area where you can relax together and talk about what you would like to ex­pe­ri­en­ce during your holiday. The kitchen is open to the living room, so you can join in the games and con­ver­sa­tion while preparing a meal.

The holiday home has a heat pump that quickly provides com­fortab­le warmth when needed. The bathroom is practical and has un­der­floor heating. In the utility room, you will find both a washing machine and a tumble dryer, ready for the beach towels after a long day by the sea.

In the garden, you will find an annexe with two sleeping spaces, which you can use all year round.

Enjoy life outside
The holiday home has a lovely terrace where you can enjoy your meals when the weather allows. You can also sit here and keep an eye on the children as they play in the garden. If the weather changes, the covered terrace lets you enjoy dinner outdoors for much of the year.

The large grounds offer plenty of room for outdoor games and play. The wooden terrace with its outdoor sauna may well become your favourite spot during your stay. Here, you can enjoy time together in privacy, unwind and let the hours pass at your own pace.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
The holiday home is just 200 metres from one of East Jutland’s best bathing beaches. The sandy beach has shallow water and is par­ti­cu­lar­ly suitable for children.

Within walking distance, you will find Re­stau­rant Bon­de­hu­set, Vaf­fel­hu­set, Trekanten for pizza, and Strands­hop­pen, which sells everyday es­sen­ti­als and has a mini golf course. Saksild is also home to Denmark’s oldest mini golf course, where you can challenge each other to a game and enjoy a generous ice cream af­terwards.

If you enjoy an active holiday, you can spend time on the water, go cycling or explore the beautiful sur­ro­un­dings on foot. Tip: You can rent bicycles and pad­dle­bo­ards at Saksild Strand Camping.

The charming little harbour town of Norsminde is also nearby. Stop for an ice cream or enjoy a meal at the well regarded Norsminde Kro. From Hou, ferries sail daily to the islands of Samsø and Tunø, making either island a lovely choice for a day trip.

Odder is just 8 ki­lo­metres from the holiday home. Here, you can stroll along the pe­de­stri­an street, browse the shops and visit local at­tra­ctions. You can also stop by Denmark’s largest Kvickly su­per­mar­ket. The Kuglen & Keglen bowling centre in Odder offers a range of outdoor acti­vi­ties for the whole family.

Around half an hour away by car, you can explore Aarhus, Denmark’s second largest city. At­tra­ctions include Den Gamle By, ARoS art museum, Moesgaard Museum, Bruuns Galleri shopping centre and Tivoli Friheden. You will also find plenty of cultural ex­pe­ri­en­ces, shops and places to eat.
