The cottage was renovated in 2016 and appears bright, friendly and well maintained. The cottage is furnished with a bright and large kitchen in open connection with the living room. In the living room you can sit and enjoy the heat from the wood burning stove while you are reading a good book. With access from the living room to the covered terrace, the food can be enjoyed outside on the warmer days. The house has 3 bedrooms - all with a double bed. For the youngest in the family there is a cot and a high chair. The house has 1 bathroom with a shower.
For the house there also is an annex, which may only be used during the summer, which is furnished with a double bed.
Outdoor
The cottage offers both an open and a covered terrace. In the garden there is a trampoline and a sandbox for the children. The garden is divided in to small cozy zones, like courtyard, greenhouse, terraces and play area. So there should be plenty of opportunities to find a favorite spot in the garden.
Location
The cottage is located at Rude Beach, with the fine sand the beach is absolutely child friendly. From the big slopes there are views to Tunø and Samsø. The area around Rude Beach invites to hiking and walks. Not far from Rude Beach is Saksild Beach, which offers mini golf at the oldest and nicest mini golf course in Denmark.
From the cottage you can reach Aarhus in only a half an hour drive, where you can visit Den Gamle By, Aros or Moesgaard Museum.

We enjoy the authentic summer house atmosphere both in the house and in the area. It is quiet, you can hear the waves from the property, and the house is sheltered in the middle of the summer house cluster.
It takes 5 minutes to walk to one of Denmark's best beaches, which is used extensively all year round.
The cottage can accommodate quite a few people, both outdoors on the terrace and indoors when it rains. There is plenty of seating on the many sofas, and the kitchen is well equipped. Outdoors, there are several nice “nooks,” and the trampoline is a sure winner when the grandchildren are visiting.
Close to Aarhus and the interesting Moesgård Museum and Odder, which is a good shopping town.
