The holiday home is a welcoming 62 m² base with space for up to five guests. Inside, you are greeted by a bright and relaxed interior, where the living room is the natural gathering place. From here, you can enjoy the view across Norsminde Fjord while drinking your morning coffee, reading a book or gathering the family after the day's ex­pe­ri­en­ces. The kitchen connects with the living area, so preparing meals becomes part of the time you spend together rather than something that happens se­pa­ra­te­ly. The house has two bedrooms, giving you the fle­xi­bi­li­ty to enjoy your holiday with both family and friends. When the evening turns cooler, you can light the wood-burning stove and let the warmth spread through the room while you play a game or simply talk about the day's ex­pe­ri­en­ces. This is a holiday home where you do not need to fill every hour with acti­vi­ties, but instead have a pleasant place to return to and enjoy time together.

Enjoy life outside
It is outside that the holiday home's special location truly comes into its own. The grounds extend directly down to Norsminde Fjord, so you can walk from the terrace all the way to the shallow water. Here, children can paddle and play at the water's edge while you enjoy the view or find a sunny spot to relax. The covered terrace allows you to sit outside even when the weather changes and is ideal for long meals with the fjord as your ba­ck­gro­und. There is also an open terrace, so you can follow the sun and find the spot that suits the weather best. As evening ap­pro­a­ches, you can light a fire and gather around the flames. From here, you can watch the colours of the fjord change as the sun sets in the west. If you bring a kayak, you can launch it directly into the water and ex­pe­ri­en­ce the fjord from a com­ple­te­ly different per­specti­ve.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
Norsminde offers a holiday where nature and small local ex­pe­ri­en­ces are close together. From the house, you can walk along the fjord and ex­pe­ri­en­ce the protected landscape, which is known for its rich birdlife. At certain times of the year, you may be lucky enough to see large flocks of resting birds, and the area is ideal for peaceful walks where nature itself becomes the ex­pe­ri­en­ce. You can also walk the ap­proxi­ma­te­ly 300 meters to Norsminde Harbour, where you will find a pleasant maritime at­mosp­he­re with re­stau­rants, harbour life and the historic Norsminde Kro. If you bring bicycles, the Fjord Route is a lovely way to explore the area. The route takes you around Norsminde Fjord and through landsca­pes of coastline, river valley and quiet local roads. If you would like to explore beyond the local area, Aarhus is only around a 15 to 20-minute drive away. Spend the day enjoying art, culture and shopping, or visit Den Gamle By. You can also choose an excursion to Moesgaard Museum or take a trip along the coast. When you return to the holiday home, you can slow down once again and let the fjord be the last thing you see before the day comes to an end.
