The house is 60 m² and ac­com­moda­tes five guests across two bedrooms and an annex. This allows you to choose the sleeping ar­ran­ge­ment that suits your holiday best, perhaps with the children in the annex or with an extra room for a couple of friends. When the evening turns cooler, you can light the wood-burning stove and let the warmth create a pleasant end to the day. The bathroom is simple and fun­ctio­nal, and with both a washing machine and dis­hwas­her, the practical tasks are easy to manage. Above all, this is a holiday home where you can quickly feel at ease and spend your time doing what you came for: being together and enjoying your time off.

Enjoy life outside
The house is sur­ro­un­ded by a large plot with plenty of space to enjoy life outside. The large wooden terrace quickly becomes a natural gathering place when the weather is at its best. Sit down with your morning coffee while the rest of the family slowly wakes up, or set the table for lunch and stay outside long after the plates have been cleared. The terrace overlooks the garden, giving you a good view while the children play on the lawn. When clouds appear or the evening dew begins to settle, you can move to the partly covered section of the terrace and continue enjoying outdoor life without letting a small change in the weather decide the day. The spacious garden also provide room for ball games, play and other spon­ta­neous acti­vi­ties that do not need to be planned in advance. And the beach is only around 300 meters away. This makes it easy to head out with a towel over your shoulder, return home for lunch and go back to the water later. In this way, the beach can become a natural part of your holiday, even when you only feel like a short visit.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
Saksild Beach is an ideal place for a holiday if you would like to combine beach life with small ex­pe­ri­en­ces in the local area. The child-friendly sandy beach is only around 300 meters from the house, making it easy to start the day with a trip to the water. There are good op­portu­ni­ties for swimming, playing in the sand, walking along the coast or trying pad­dle­bo­ar­ding and other water sports. You can also make your visit to the beach part of a longer walk along the coast, where the landscape and the ocean con­ti­nu­al­ly change along the way. When you would like something other than sand beneath your feet, Denmark's oldest minigolf course is only a short walk from the holiday home. It is the perfect op­portu­ni­ty to challenge the family to a friendly com­pe­ti­tion and perhaps enjoy an ice cream af­terwards. You will also find local places to eat in the area, including Re­stau­rant Bon­destu­en and Vaf­fel­hu­set, so you can give the holiday home kitchen an evening off. Odder is around a 10-minute drive away, where you can do your shopping or enjoy a small trip into town. If you feel like a day in the city, Aarhus is also within easy reach with museums, cafés, shopping and culture. When you return to Saksild, you can retreat to the holiday home once again and let the ex­pe­ri­en­ces of the day settle in.

The holiday area near Saksild Beach is popular and un­der­go­ing positive de­ve­l­op­ment. New and at­tra­cti­ve holiday homes are currently being built nearby, creating an appealing holiday area close to the water and green sur­ro­un­dings. This also means that you may oc­ca­sio­nal­ly ex­pe­ri­en­ce some noise from nearby con­struction work. However, there is still plenty of open sky, birdsong and one of Denmark's best beaches to enjoy during your stay.
