Welcome inside
The heart of the vacation home is the bright and inviting kitchen-dining area, where the kitchen and living room flow seam­les­s­ly into one another. There’s plenty of space here to cook together, play games at the dining table, or simply sit back and enjoy the view through the large windows. The house has three com­fortab­le bedrooms and can host up to six guests, so you can spend your vacation with both family and friends. As evening ap­pro­a­ches, you can light the wood-burning stove and gather in the living room—perhaps with a good book, a game, or simply a drink in hand—while enjoying the peace and the view.

The house has a 55” TV with a TV package offering Danish, German, Swedish, and Norwegian channels, plus Chro­mecast, so you can use your own streaming services while staying here.

Enjoy life outside
The large patio wraps all the way around the house, offering plenty of op­portu­ni­ties to enjoy the outdoors. It’s partially covered, so you can find shade on hot summer days or stay outside even as the dew settles in the evening. Find a nice spot for your morning coffee, enjoy lunch in the sun, or gather the family for a cozy dinner under the open sky. Here, you can also just sit back and enjoy the view of the co­un­trysi­de and Horsens Fjord. When night falls, the area becomes com­ple­te­ly quiet. With no stre­et­lights or other ar­ti­fi­ci­al lighting, you’ll have a great op­portu­ni­ty to ex­pe­ri­en­ce a clear sky full of stars—and perhaps end the day with a quiet moment on the patio.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
Amstrup Ege is a peaceful area where you can quickly get close to nature. Take a walk through the sur­ro­un­ding co­un­trysi­de, discover the rich bird and animal life, or drive across the dam to Alrø, where you can explore the small island and enjoy its unique island at­mosp­he­re. The fjord is perfect for water acti­vi­ties, and the area is popular for recre­a­tio­nal fishing and windsur­fing, among other things. You can also take a trip to Sondrup Bakker to ex­pe­ri­en­ce the rolling hills and stunning views. If you’re in the mood for city life and shopping, Odder is about a 15-minute drive away, while Horsens can be reached in about 25 minutes. If you’d like to explore even more, Aarhus is within easy reach, offering museums, shops, and Tivoli Friheden, among other at­tra­ctions. So you can easily fill your vacation with ex­pe­ri­en­ces—but you can also choose to stay home, light a fire in the fire pit, and simply enjoy the view and the peace and quiet.
