Location
The house is located on the tiny car-free island named Tunø in Kattegat, which is the water between Denmark and Sweden. You get to Tunø by ferry from Hou. The trip takes approx. one hour. Tunø is a small island with only 7 km of coastline and it is possible to walk around the island, which is a very unique walk. Tunø has a very unique, rare, beautiful and varied countryside. The island offers excellent shopping and dining options as well as bicycle rental. It is recommended to visit the small museum and the church tower, which also serves as the lighthouse.
