Lovely located holiday house close to Sonnerup forest, Klint and Kattegat
House-ID: 11830Close to the protected area Klintebjerg there is a lovely and peaceful holiday house area with access to good walking paths in the nearby Sonnerup forest and Klint hills. Here you have good possibilities to fish for sea trout close to Klint harbour or to build stone columns along the sea.
Welcome inside
The holiday house is perfect for the nature lover, the angler and the wanderer. If you are two couples wanting peace and quiet and to be close to nature, or a family with children needing peace and quiet, then this house is a good choice. You are sitting really well on the long bench by the dining table, close to the wood burner and with a view through the windows in the living room to the park-like plot, bordering on a protected nature area. In the living room with the open kitchen and double-height ceiling you also find the lovely sofa setting, where you may sit down and enjoy the atmosphere and digest the day’s events, until you find rest in the cosy and spacious bedrooms.
Enjoy life outside
Outside the house several nice terraces have been laid out, and on the 6850 m2 big plot with grass and forest vegetation there are also several spots with benches, tables and chairs. Here you have every possibility to find peace and quiet, sun or shade, whatever you wish. The park is located with a small view to Sonnerup Forest and the protected Fladvandet (=Flatwater). You may walk 1,5 km on the paths leading to the Kattegat coast between Klint hills and Sonnerup forest.
Get close to the local attractions
At Feriepartner Odsherred we recommend a tour in Sonnerup forest, located quite close to the holiday house. The forest is bordering on the Kattegat sea, covers 290 hectares and was established to prevent the sand drift. The hard conditions to make the forest grow at all have given it a special troll-like appearance – particularly the first 50-100 metres from the coast. You may take nice walks along the 3km long coastline, or you may put on a pair of waders and fish for trout and just enjoy the unique nature. You may also look for interesting stones on the beach, and maybe you can find fossils from the past. When you have gathered appetite, you can visit the restaurant Det Vilde Køkken in Klint that uses plenty of local produce and not at least local wild herbs.
