From the house, it’s only 400 meters to the beach if you want to greet the North Sea or even take a re­fres­hing dip in the waves. If you prefer to stay on land, you can head to Fun-Park Hirtshals, a popular desti­na­tion for families with children. History ent­hu­si­asts should visit Hirtshals Fyr and the local bunker museum, and at Nordsøen Oce­a­na­ri­um, you can get up close to life under the sea.
