Charming holiday home in stunning surroundings at Kærsgård Beach
House-ID: LN1958This secluded gem of a holiday home enjoys a fantastic location on Kærsgård Strandvej. With only a few neighbours, you practically have the view of the rolling coastal landscape to yourselves, and in a straight line, you are just 200 metres from the North Sea.
Welcome inside
The scenic surroundings of Kærsgård Strand provide the perfect backdrop for a holiday, especially if your dream is to feel peace and relaxation in body and mind. The interior of the house enhances the holiday feeling, as it is equipped with everything you need—and a little extra—and is winter-insulated, so it can be used outside the summer season. The layout includes two bedrooms, a bathroom with a shower, and a spacious living room with an integrated kitchen area. The living room has a flat-screen TV with satellite channels including German channels, and there is also Chromecast for streaming movies. A wood-burning stove is centrally located in the room—and note that firewood can be purchased in Tornby. A small annex is part of the property; it is insulated but without electricity or water. However, it has a sofa bed and lovely views of the surrounding nature, making it a delightful place to wake up in the morning. For practical matters, waste must be sorted at a nearby parking area, and only small dogs are welcome in the house.
Enjoy life outside
The holiday home sits on a large, secluded natural plot that blends seamlessly with the surrounding landscape. If you want to enjoy the morning sun, you can settle on the east-facing terrace, and later move to the other terrace, which enjoys sun from the south and west. The outdoor shower has both hot and cold water, perfect for a morning rinse or a quick shower after a trip to the beach.
Get up close to the local attractions
The beach is technically only 200 metres away, but if you follow the walking path, it’s about 400 metres. The walk over the dunes takes around five minutes, making it easy to pop down several times a day for a swim, a stroll along the water, or to enjoy the sunset over the North Sea. The small, shallow dune lake known as Vandplasken is located in a protected area very close to the house, making it a great spot to experience the “Black Sun” phenomenon in autumn. You can also easily visit Tornby Dune Plantation, and in Hirtshals, you can explore the North Sea Oceanarium and admire the view from the top of Hirtshals Lighthouse.
Remember that you can always borrow pull wagons, high chairs, and cots from us at Feriepartner Lønstrup. You can pick them up directly at the agency and return them once your holiday has come to an end.
