Stjernehøj in Melby is situated in a quiet area with easy access to both beach and forest. You can cycle or walk along the “Æblestien” path to reach the beach, where the Kattegat’s waves and wide sandy shores invite you to swim, build sandcast­les, or take long walks.
The sur­ro­un­ding area offers scenic nature trails and woodlands, perfect for bike rides or leisurely walks – for example through Tisvilde Hegn forest or up to Høje Lin­deb­jerg, where you’ll be rewarded with stunning views.
Just a short distance away lies Liseleje, a charming seaside town that comes alive in summer with family-friendly acti­vi­ties, ice cream stalls, re­stau­rants, and a lively at­mosp­he­re. You can also visit nearby towns like Hundested, Tisvil­de­le­je, and Gilleleje, all offering cosy harbours, cafés, and local de­li­ca­cies – perfect for a day trip when you want to combine nature with culture.
