Opening hours / Telephone

In case of emergency problems in the houses or upon arrival, we can be contacted by phone: (+45) 47 74 63 34 within normal business hours. SMS cannot be received at this number.
EMERGENCY NUMBER: In case of emergency, outside of our opening hours, you can call the telephone: (+45) 89 88 09 85. Telephone time: 9.00-22.00.
An emergency is the following: Lack of keys to the holiday home, the failure to supply ordered linen, the fact that there is no electricity, heat, or water or if there is a problem with the sewer.

Question 2

Allergy

Accepted Answer

Although the holiday home description states that pets are not allowed, the owner or their guests may have brought pets into the holiday home. Feriepartner’s staff accept no responsibility for allergic reactions related to e.g. pets or house dust. Please note that people with dust allergies should choose holiday homes with wooden or tiled floors.

Question 3

Arrival and Departure

Accepted Answer

Your rental agreement states clearly what time on your day of arrival the holiday home is available. Likewise, the agreement also states the time of departure. Please note that it is not possible to arrive earlier or depart later. Between every rental the holiday home is checked, and any necessary repairs are carried out, so that you take over the house in a satisfactory condition.
You will also on your rental agreement find information, where you have to pick up the keys to the holiday home.
In case of delated departure, the tenant will be charged EUR 140 unless another departure time has been agreed.

Question 4

Barbecue

Accepted Answer

Most holiday homes have a barbecue included in their equipment. Feriepartner assume no responsibility for the quality or condition of this barbecue.

The grill must only be used in fireproof areas.

Question 5

Beds/sleeping areas/cupboard space

Accepted Answer

Bed sizes vary greatly. The width of a double bed varies from approx. 140-180 cm. The length varies from 175-210 cm. The width of single beds varies from 60-90 cm and the length from 175-210 cm. Double beds often consist of one large mattress, but sometimes of two single mattresses. Often there is a protective mattress on top on the grounds of hygiene and appearance. Please lay your own sheet on top of the protective mattress.

Holiday homes generally have quite limited cupboard space. Therefore, you cannot expect to lay/hang all the clothes you have brought in cupboards. Some cupboards are open or with a curtain.

Bicycle rental

You can rent bicycles in the area, and Feriepartner are always available, should you need further information.

Bicycles

Accepted Answer

In some holiday homes there are bicycles, which the renter is free to use. But Feriepartner take no responsibility for their quality and standard or any defects.

Question 8

Children Equipment

Accepted Answer

Guests at Feriepartner can rent childbeds and highchairs. These have to be booked up to 3 days before arrival.
Key box houses: The rented items are delivered in the holiday home. When the booking is less than 3 days prior to arrival, the equipment must be picked up at the agency's office.
House without key box: The equipment is picked up and delivered at the agency's office.

Question 9

Cleaning

Accepted Answer

The final cleaning is included in the rental price, which means you don’t have to spend the last hours of your holiday cleaning. However, there are a few things you need to take care of before departure:

Clean the barbeque

Wash the dishes and empty the dishwasher.

Clean up the house and on the terraces.

Put furniture and other things in the seats they had on arrival.

Extra waste, bottles, cardboard must be removed so that only waste is left in bags up to the dotted line or in a waste container.

Rented linen is taken off the beds and collected in the fabric bags provided.
Please note that Feriepartner can only take responsibility for cleaning loft spaces where there is safe and easy access and reasonable space. This limitation is due to occupational health and safety considerations.
Damages and complaints must be immediately reported to Feriepartner at the start of the rental period. If this is not possible upon arrival, you must get in touch no later than 48 hours later. Damages/defects/complaints do not necessarily lead to discount or compensation (p. §6 General Terms and Conditions).

Feriepartner has the right to rectify the complaint within a reasonable period before any compensation is given.

Question 10

Construction noise

Accepted Answer

During your holiday, there may be construction noise in the immediate surroundings. Feriepartner have no way of knowing when and where building or renovation is taking place, and therefore cannot be held responsible.

Question 11

Décor/equipment

Accepted Answer

All holiday homes are privately owned and decorated in accordance with the owner’s taste and requirements. Therefore, Feriepartner bear no responsibility for the renter’s individual expectations. Unless otherwise specified, all holiday homes are equipped with toilet, hot and cold water, hand shower/shower cabin, stove, and radiators. The beds have duvets (in some cases feather duvets), pillows and possibly a mattress topper. There are cutlery and kitchen utensils for the number of persons allowed in the house. Please call Feriepartner if you have any questions about décor etc. For your holiday, you must bring the following yourself: bedding, towels, tea towels, dishcloths, tablecloth, and toiletries.

Cleaning products are not always available in the summer house. Therefore, guests are kindly asked to bring their own cleaning products. We recommend eco-labeled products.

Question 12

Deposit / consumption

Accepted Answer

After departure the holiday home is checked. Utilities expenses will be offset against the deposit. The amount is refunded within 14 days after departure, into the account you have stipulated.

Distances

All distances have been measured on the internet using Google Earth. We have calculated distances to the best of our ability.

Question 14

Electric car

Accepted Answer

In the house description on the website under Facilities, it appears whether charging electric cars (also applies to hybrids) at the rented holiday home is permitted or not. If charging an electric car is permitted, it appears under Facilities which type of charging is made available and is thus permitted.
If the tenant acts contrary to the house description by charging an electric car where it is not permitted, the tenant is directly liable for damages to Feriepartner and the owner of the holiday home, for the damage and loss that the unlawful charging may cause.
220 Volts in all holiday homes.

Energy consumption

Feriepartner recommend that you keep an eye on your energy consumption during your stay.

Question 16

Firewood

Accepted Answer

Firewood is not included in the rental price, but you can buy firewood in supermarkets etc. If there is any firewood at the holiday home, this is the owner’s private property, and may only be used/purchased, if permission has been granted. In this case, the payment is made directly to the owner and left in the house on departure. It is forbidden to gather firewood in the forest or on the beach, as it may contain salt, which can damage the stove. If there are high winds or storms, it may be that the wood burning stove/fireplace cannot be used, because the wind pressures the smoke back down the chimney.

Question 18

Garbage

Accepted Answer

Next to the holiday home there is either a garbage bin or a garbage bag. But these are not normally emptied every week. Therefore, you cannot necessarily expect an empty bin/bag upon arrival. We recommend that you separate empty bottles, cans, cardboard, and paper, and deliver these to a garbage collection point in the appropriate area.
If the holiday home is left with an overflowing waste container or unsorted waste, Feriepartner reserves the right to charge a fee for disposal of the waste.
Under no circumstances may wet wipes, disposable cloths, sponge cloths, diapers, sanitary pads, panty liners, cotton pads, food waste, etc., be disposed of in the toilets.

Question 19

Garden furniture

Accepted Answer

All holiday homes have garden furniture for your use, i.e. table and chairs. Parasols, sun loungers and cushions are excluded from this category, and so you cannot expect them to be available in the house.

Question 20

Guests

Accepted Answer

We would like to point out that you must never accommodate more people in the holiday home than the number specified in the house’s description. Nor is it allowed to pitch tents, or park caravans or camping vans on the holiday home’s plot.

Health insurance

You are recommended to bring your health insurance details when you go on holiday.

Question 22

Hot tub

Accepted Answer

Hygiene in a hot tub is very important. Feriepartner make sure that between all rental periods the hot tub is thoroughly cleaned to combat bacteria. If you use the hot tub, you must put one chlorine tablet per person in the water. All houses with hot tubs supply chlorine tablets. Only switch on the hot tub when the water is 10 cm above the nozzles.

Question 24

Land

Accepted Answer

Feriepartner descriptions frequently include the expression “natural land.” This refers to heather moors, tall grass, uneven ground, wild heath etc. This “natural land” has been left to nature, so you cannot count on being able to use the entire area. Nor can you expect the grass to be cut, so that, for example, children can play ball. It is not allowed to park a caravan or pitch a tent on the land. Please also read the point: “Guests”.

Linen package

Accepted Answer

A linen package includes: Bed linen, small and large towel and tea towel.
You can order linen packages in the office.

Key box houses: Linen is delivered in the holiday home. When the booking is less than 3 days prior to arrival, linen must be collected at the agency's office.

House without key box: Linen is picked up and delivered at the agency’s office.

For linen packages delivered in reusable fabric bags, the fabric bags must be returned along with the used linen upon departure.

Question 26

Lost property

Accepted Answer

Feriepartner keep lost property, for up to 3 months after the end of a stay. Any articles will be posted at the renter’s own expense. Postage + EUR 15 in fee.

Military exercises

Accepted Answer

In certain areas of Denmark military exercises occasionally take place. As far as possible, such activities take place outside holiday periods. You can obtain further information from Feriepartner. Sometimes the exercises are planned at the last minute, so it is impossible to provide accurate information.

Question 28

Payment

Accepted Answer

The 1st instalment is a prepayment of 25% of the overall rental price. The balance and the deposit must be paid no later than 70 days before the start of the rental period. If booking less than 70 days before the start of the rental period, the full rent must be paid immediately. Together with the rental agreement all guests receive bank details, including IBAN number and SWIFT code for transferring the stated amount. All guests can pay by credit card on the Feriepartner website.

Question 29

Pets

Accepted Answer

Pets are welcome in many Feriepartner holiday homes, but make sure you first read the description of the house before you book one. Your dog is permitted to move freely, but only on the plot of the holiday home. If the dog is on the neighboring plot or in open countryside, it must always be on a lead. As a dog-owner, you must make sure that you remove dog hair from carpets and furniture and any droppings from the plot before your departure.

Renting in the winter months

In the period from 1 October to 31 March, the holiday home is heated to a temperature of approx. 15°C for your arrival. In houses with a pool, the pool will be heated to a temperature of approx. 24 to 28°C.

Question 31

Smoking

Accepted Answer

If the tenant smoke inside a non-smoking house, the tenant is obliged to pay EUR 500 to Feriepartner for non-compliance with the house description. Whether smoking is allowed in the holiday home is stated in the house description for the individual holiday home.

Question 32

Swimming guidelines

Accepted Answer

In some areas on the Danish coastline it can be dangerous to go swimming. Follow these swimming guidelines:

1. Learn to swim and dive correctly

2. Never swim alone

3. Swim only where permitted

4. Only go out to navel-level

5. Dive only where the water is deep enough

6. Swim along the coast

7. Never swim with alcohol or narcotics in your bloodstream

8. Get out of the water, when you start to feel cold

Question 33

Terrace

Accepted Answer

By wet weather the wood patio of the house may get slippery, so take care when treading on it. Feriepartner disclaims all liability for any injuries resulting from a fall on the patio.

Question 34

TV

Accepted Answer

Many holiday homes have TV and satellite connection. The satellite box has been programmed according to the individual owner’s wishes, so you cannot assume that you will be able to receive all Danish programs. Poor signal or total reception failure may occur (weather conditions). If any problems occur with the TV/satellite reception etc., there is no guarantee that it can be repaired at the weekend or in the evening. In the event of misuse or changes of settings by the renter, Feriepartner reserve the right to charge the renter for repair/new setting. Please make sure you read the instruction manual/info folder or call Feriepartner if you are in doubt about how to operate it.

Question 35

Use of holiday home

Accepted Answer

The holiday home may only be used for recreational purposes, and not for parties and gatherings without the owner's prior consent. Feriepartner is entitled to contact the tenant if there is a reasonable suspicion of a non-recreational purpose with the lease.

Question 36

Utilities expenses

Accepted Answer

Power and possibly oil/district heating meters are read on arrival and departure and entered in My Feriepartner. The link will be sent prior to the start of the tenancy. Water consumption is included in the rental price. This is shown in your consumption registration. If the meter readings are not recorded, Feriepartner estimates the consumption.

Consumer prices are continuously regulated.

Question 37

Vermin/insects

Accepted Answer

Feriepartner draw particular attention to the fact that Danish holiday homes are located in natural areas. Naturally, these natural areas are home to ants, flies, and spiders. There is nothing we can do about this. In the event of extreme insect infestation in the holiday home, please contact Feriepartner. We will do our best to help you.

Question 38

Washing machines, tumble dryers, dishwashers

Accepted Answer

In many holiday homes there are washing machines, tumble dryers and/or dishwashers. If and operating problems occur, there is no guarantee that repairs can be carried out at the weekend or in the evening. In the event of misuse by the renter, Feriepartner reserve the right to charge the renter for any repair. Please make sure you read the instruction manual or call Feriepartner if you are in doubt about how to operate it.

Question 39

Wind and weather

Accepted Answer

Feriepartner cannot be held responsible if your arrival at or departure from the holiday home/key collection point, is made impossible because of snowfall, ice, or other weather conditions. This also applies to damages, including personal injuries, which may arise from this.
Unfortunately, Feriepartner have frequently encountered problems when renting to young people (e.g. damage to equipment or lack of clean-up). Therefore, it has been necessary to set an age limit of 25 for groups of more than 2 people. Of course, this does not apply to young people, who are on holiday with their parents, or to two young people, who rent a house together. There may be inspection visits!
