Location

The holiday home is idyl­li­cal­ly located in the quiet village of Sil­ver­da­len near Lönneberga – home of Emil – on a spacious green plot. Sil­ver­da­len has a grocery store and a bank, among other things, so that the most important everyday amenities are within walking distance. The nearest town, Hultsfred, is only about 8 km away and offers all shopping fa­ci­li­ties, a tourist in­for­ma­tion office and other in­fra­struc­tu­re. Just 12 km away, Astrid Lind­gren's World near Vimmerby invites you to an un­for­get­tab­le family outing.

For fishing ent­hu­si­asts, an 80 km² fishing area is only 6 km away and promises excellent fishing op­portu­ni­ties in unspoilt nature. Those who prefer swimming will find the nearest bathing spot just 2 km away. The pi­c­tu­resque Linden bathing lake in the forest is 7 km away, while the Stora Hammersjöns bathing lake, 18 km away at the Björnnäsets nature reserve, is ideal for a day trip to ex­pe­ri­en­ce nature. In Hultsfred, there is also a municipal bathing area with canoe hire – ideal for active holidays with the whole family.

Fa­ci­li­ties

As this house is a former residence, it offers eve­ryt­hing you need for everyday living. With 80 m² of living space, there is plenty of room for a group or family of up to 5 people. Typical of historic houses, the rooms are arranged in a circle around the central chimney on both floors. You enter the house through an entrance area, from which you can access the cosy, typical Swedish kitchen on the left. In addition to a large fridge and freezer, oven, electric stove, microwave and filter coffee machine, it offers eve­ryt­hing you need to prepare and serve common dishes. Through the kitchen, you enter the large living room, where you can relax on two sofas and an armchair while chatting, reading a good book or watching satellite TV. Con­ti­nu­ing clockwise around the central chimney, you will come to a small hallway with the bathroom with shower on one side and the toilet on the other. Con­ti­nu­ing straight ahead, you will reach the large first bedroom with a double bed through a sliding door, from which you can return clockwise to the entrance area.

From the entrance area, a staircase leads to the upper floor, where you will find two further bedrooms, one of which is furnished as a single room and the other as a double room with single beds. A cot is also available. Large cupboards are built into the sloping ceilings. The single room also opens onto the balcony.

Special in­for­ma­tions

During the A, B and C seasons, weekly bookings can only be made on Saturdays; during the D season, any travel day is possible with a minimum stay of one week.

Electri­ci­ty is charged at EUR 0.40 per kWh.

An optional final cleaning service can be booked for EUR 90 when making your re­ser­va­tion.

The landlords charge a deposit of EUR 150, which will be refunded after the property has been vacated and returned in good condition.

Towels and bed linen can be booked for EUR 15 per person.

Pets, charging electric cars and smoking indoors are un­fortu­na­te­ly not permitted.
