Enjoy life outside
The wooden terrace will quickly become one of the places where you enjoy spending most of your time. It wraps around the house and gives you several options for finding a pleasant spot throug­hout the day. Start with coffee and fresh air, move lunch outside and later settle down with a cold drink while the light changes across As Vig. The terrace has both a windbreak and an awning, allowing you to create shelter and shade when the sun is high or the wind picks up. This makes it easy to use the outdoor space from morning until evening. As evening ap­pro­a­ches, you can continue sitting outside with the view while the last light of the day settles over the water. When you feel like having sand between your feet, the beach and coastline are only around 300 meters away. You are also close to shopping fa­ci­li­ties, so practical errands do not have to take up much of your holiday. If you would like to ex­pe­ri­en­ce more of the coast, Ju­els­min­de is an ideal desti­na­tion. The charming harbour town is only a short drive away and offers a maritime at­mosp­he­re, re­stau­rants and acti­vi­ties, espe­ci­al­ly during the summer months. Stroll along the harbour, enjoy an ice cream or sit down at a café and watch the town life around you. You can also head to Horsens, which is around a 20-minute drive from the holiday home. Here you can visit FÆNGSLET, where the former state prison is now home to a museum and various ex­pe­ri­en­ces for both children and adults. If you prefer to stay closer to nature, spend the day by the coast, in the forest or cycling through the landscape. This way, you can decide whether your holiday should be filled with excur­sions or whether the biggest plan of the day is simply finding a good spot on the terrace and enjoying the view across As Vig.
