Beautiful holiday home with activity room, sauna and large green plot

Thorup Strand is a wonderful place to spend your holiday if you dream of enjoying your days close to both the beach and the forest. And if you would also like your holiday to include plenty of fun, cosiness and social time together, you should de­fi­ni­te­ly take a closer look at this large activity house that ac­com­moda­tes up to 10 people.

Welcome inside

Thanks to its well-thought-out layout and excellent fa­ci­li­ties, the holiday home is perfect for two families with children, and it also works won­der­ful­ly for a holiday with friends. All five bedrooms are furnished with double beds, and one of the two bathrooms includes a sauna – ideal if some of the guests would like to relax in the warmth.

In the activity room you can play pool and darts for as long as you like, and there is also a com­fortab­le sofa area that invites you to enjoy board games or take a break with a good book. Another seating area can be found in the adjoining living room, which also features a wood-burning stove, a dining table and a large flat-screen TV, as well as open access to a well-equipped kitchen.

Enjoy life outside

With garden doors in the living room, kitchen and activity room, it is easy to move lunch outdoors or take the newspaper outside to the sun lounger. There are several lovely terraces to choose from, and in the garden the youngest guests will find a play area with swings, a sandbox and a play tower with a slide.

There is a carport for the car, and the lawn provides plenty of space for ball games, while sur­ro­un­ding ve­ge­ta­tion helps create a private at­mosp­he­re away from neig­h­bouring pro­per­ties.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

Tyttebærstien is a quiet, closed gravel road, and from here it is easy to explore the scenic sur­ro­un­dings of Thorup Strand and the nearby area. The walk to the North Sea is quick and easy, but if you feel like stret­ching your legs, you can enjoy longer walks along the beautiful Jam­mer­bug­ten coastline.

You can also head into Vester Thorup Klit­plan­ta­ge – and if you are tra­vel­ling with children, a stop at the forest play­gro­und is a must. Bird ent­hu­si­asts should visit Vejlerne, Northern Europe’s largest bird reserve, and if you feel hungry af­terwards, you can stop by the local grocery store in Vester Thorup or head to the coastal landing site to enjoy a delicious meal at the local fish house.

Remember that you can always borrow pull wagons, high chairs and baby cots from us at Fe­ri­e­part­ner Jam­mer­bugt. You can collect them directly from the office and return them once your holiday has come to an end.
