The heart of the house is the open-plan kitchen and living area with dining corner and lounge furnished with com­fortab­le furniture. This is the perfect place to gather for cooking, shared meals, or a game of Ludo or cards around the table. The room is bright and welcoming, and if the day starts off grey and cool, it is wonderful to light the wood-burning stove and let the warmth spread throug­hout the house.
The holiday home also features three bedrooms with com­fortab­le double beds, providing space for up to six guests. If you are in the mood for a touch of luxury, you can fill the hot tub with warm water, switch on the sauna, and enjoy a relaxing hour all to yourself. Overall, the house is well equipped with modern ap­pli­an­ces, TV and wireless internet, ensuring a com­fortab­le, cosy and relaxing stay in these well-fun­ctio­ning sur­ro­un­dings.

Enjoy life outside
The holiday home is set on a large garden plot with plenty of space on the lawn for children to play ball games or run around – unless they would rather spend time on the swings. The house also features a very nice covered terrace, where you can fire up the barbecue and enjoy long, warm summer evenings with a good glass of wine or a hot cup of coffee.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions
Thorup Strand is a popular holiday desti­na­tion, both because of the peace and tranquil­li­ty found in the beautiful natural sur­ro­un­dings, and because the old fishing village by the beach is full of at­mosp­he­re and idyllic charm. Here, fishing boats are still pulled up onto the shore, and you can buy freshly caught plaice and cod directly from the boats.
The entire area offers plenty of wonderful nature ex­pe­ri­en­ces, including the North Sea, the bird cliff at Bulbjerg, Fosdalen, Svink­love­ne and the large dune plan­ta­tions. Be sure to bring bi­no­cu­lars so you can easily get close to the rich wildlife and birdlife. The nearest larger town is Fjer­rits­lev, where you will find shops, a swimming pool and a golf course, as well as re­stau­rants and takeaway options for those days when you want things to be easy.

Remember, you can always borrow carts, hig­h­chairs, and baby cots from us at Fe­ri­e­part­ner Jam­mer­bugt. You can pick them up directly at the office and return them when your holiday is over.
