Welcome inside

The holiday home has a bright and inviting living area, where the kitchen, dining area and lounge are arranged in an open-plan setting. Here you can prepare your holiday meals, gather around the dining table and relax on the sofa while daylight streams through the large windows. The wood-burning stove provides extra warmth and a pleasant holiday at­mosp­he­re on cooler days and evenings.

The living area offers direct access to the terrace and garden, allowing indoor and outdoor life to blend together on warm summer days. The house has three bedrooms, all furnished with a double bed, as well as a bathroom with a shower and washing machine. There are also plenty of toys for the youngest members of the family, ensuring en­tertain­ment even when the weather invites you to spend the day indoors.

Enjoy life outside

The large grounds give children plenty of space to play and explore. You will find a wide selection of outdoor toys, a swing, a firepit and a vol­ley­ball net, inviting the whole family to enjoy fun matches and active hours together.

Around the house, there are several lovely sunny and sheltered spots where you can enjoy your morning coffee or settle down with a good book. The terrace offers plenty of room for shared meals and enjoyable barbecue evenings while the children continue playing in the garden.

Parts of the grounds are de­li­be­ra­te­ly left wild, giving the garden a natural and lively ap­pea­ran­ce with flowers, grasses and good hiding places for small animals and insects. In the evening, the family can gather around the firepit, toast mars­h­mal­lows and end another wonderful holiday day beneath the open sky.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

Skovgårde Strand is a peaceful and scenic area with heath-covered landsca­pes, just a few ki­lo­metres west of Fjellerup Strand. The former fishing sett­le­ment is now a wonderful holiday desti­na­tion on the coast of North Djursland, where tranquil­li­ty, nature and beach life go hand in hand.

The beach is child-friendly and has been awarded Blue Flag status. Here you will find tables and benches where you can enjoy a barbecue and a meal over­look­ing the water. The co­un­trysi­de around Skovgårde is beautiful and varied, with numerous walking trails and quiet roads that are ideal for exploring on foot or by bicycle. There are also excellent op­portu­ni­ties for recre­a­tio­nal fishing along the coast.

In the local area, you can buy fresh fish, Danish ve­ge­tab­les and locally produced honey. Djurs Som­mer­land is always a popular choice for younger family members, while Gammel Estrup, the Danish Manor Museum, offers fa­sci­nat­ing history and culture. Many more ex­pe­ri­en­ces await throug­hout Djursland.

For city life, shopping and cultural ex­pe­ri­en­ces, Aarhus is ap­proxi­ma­te­ly one hour away by car. You can also visit the Elvis Museum in Randers, which is located just over half an hour from the holiday home.
