One of the hig­hlights of the house is the de­light­ful con­ser­va­tory. Here, a long dining table invites you to gather for meals, bring out the board games or get creative with drawing, painting and little holiday projects. It is a wonderful room where you can enjoy being together while still feeling close to the garden and outdoor life.

The house also has a pleasant bathroom with eve­ryt­hing you need, as well as a bedroom with a double bed. As an extra charming feature, there are two separate annexes, each furnished with a double bed. They are located just across the terrace, so you can stay close to one another while still enjoying a little privacy. It is an ideal ar­ran­ge­ment for families spanning several ge­ne­ra­tions or friends ho­li­daying together.

Enjoy life outside

Outside, a wonderful garden awaits, where holiday life can unfold at its own leisurely pace. The garden is fenced, allowing both children and dogs to enjoy the outdoors safely while you find a com­fortab­le spot on the inviting terrace and simply enjoy the day.

Beautiful trees and shrubs give the garden plenty of charm and create a lush, peaceful setting around the holiday home.

As evening ap­pro­a­ches, gather around the fire pit and end the day to the gentle crackle of the flames, perhaps roasting twisted bread or mars­h­mal­lows over the glowing embers.

And whenever you feel like getting some sand between your toes and taking a dip in the sea, the child-friendly Fjellerup Beach is only around 400 metres away. Just grab your beach bag and off you go.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

Fjellerup Strand is an old fishing village on the coast of North Djursland, where the beach, beautiful co­un­trysi­de and relaxed holiday at­mosp­he­re go hand in hand. The child-friendly sandy beach and shallow water invite you to spend long summer days swimming, playing and relaxing, while the co­un­trysi­de sur­ro­un­ding Fjellerup offers plenty of varied scenery to explore.

Put on your walking shoes or hop on your bike and discover the small country roads and paths that wind through the landscape. Spring is par­ti­cu­lar­ly beautiful, when the co­un­trysi­de comes alive with yellow fields of rapeseed and fresh, light-green beech forests. If you enjoy fishing, there are also good op­portu­ni­ties for angling along the coast.

There is plenty to ex­pe­ri­en­ce during a holiday in Fjellerup. Nearby at­tra­ctions include Mejlgård Castle, the im­pres­si­ve ancient me­ga­lit­hic tombs at Tustrup and Gammel Estrup. Children and the young at heart can also look forward to a fun-filled day at Djurs Som­mer­land, ap­proxi­ma­te­ly a 15-minute drive from the house.

A drive of around half an hour takes you to Grenaa, where you can explore the charming streets or discover sharks and fa­sci­nat­ing marine life at the Kattegat Centre.
