A truly special holiday home, perfect for families dreaming of a getaway that stands out from the crowd. Built in 2020 and clad in beautiful cedarwood shingles, the house has a unique and natural character. Inside, you are greeted by a bright and open space with raw brick floors, high ceilings, and large sliding glass doors that bring nature right into the home. On sunny days, you can throw the terrace doors wide open, letting indoors and outdoors blend seam­les­s­ly, so your holiday is filled with freedom and fresh air.

Every detail has been carefully thought through – from the stylish kitchen with open con­nection to the living room, to the inviting bathroom with washing machine. A heat pump ensures a com­fortab­le tem­pe­ra­tu­re all year round. The holiday home has two cozy bedrooms – one with a double bed and one with a good single bed that can be extended into two. In the entrance, you’ll find both a wardrobe and space to park a stroller. The house also provides a highchair and cot, making it ideal for families with children. If you are five people, with the youngest under 2 years, simply contact the agency, and we’ll make sure there’s room for the little holiday guest as well.

Enjoy life outside

The garden is made for both play and re­laxa­tion. Children can bounce to their hearts’ content on the tram­po­li­ne or spin around on the round swing hanging from the big old tree, while adults relax in the fun loungers or gather the whole family on the terrace. The terrace is partly covered, so you can always find a sheltered spot – and with the outdoor fireplace, evenings can be extended with warmth and cozy to­get­her­ness.

Get up close to the local at­tra­ctions

Fjellerup Strand is an old fishing village that now buzzes with life as one of Djursland’s most at­tra­cti­ve holiday areas. Here you’ll find a bakery, su­per­mar­ket, and cozy re­stau­rants, making it easy to enjoy your holiday without missing a thing. The beach is known for its child-friendly shallow waters and fine sandy seabed.

Just behind the coast, a won­der­ful­ly varied landscape awaits, with small paths and roads cris­scros­sing through nature. They invite you to beautiful hikes and bike rides where you can explore the green sur­ro­un­dings. Children will love Troldsko­ven (“The Troll Forest”), where they can discover hidden stones inside hollow trees, while anglers enjoy some of the best fishing spots along the coast. And if the catch isn’t quite biting that day, you can always buy fresh fish locally. Windsur­fers are also drawn here – the wind and waves make Fjellerup a magical spot.

You can spice up your holiday with exciting excur­sions: visit the beautiful Meilgård Manor with its inn, explore the historic stone chambers at Tustrup, and admire the im­pres­si­ve dolmens. For families, a day at Djurs Som­mer­land is almost a must – Scan­di­navia’s largest amusement park is just a 15-minute drive away. Within half an hour, you can also reach the Scan­di­navi­an Wildlife Park, Ree Park Safari, and the fa­sci­nat­ing Kat­te­gat­cen­ter in Grenaa. And of course, there’s eve­ryt­hing else that Djursland has to offer – just waiting for you to explore.
