Recommendations from Holiday home owner
- If you have a dog and love coffee, we highly recommend a visit to Aoife Coffee at Ebeltoft Harbor. They serve delicious, high-quality coffee, and dogs are welcome both inside and outside. There are good parking facilities, but if you want to tire your dog out, consider walking there. It is a beautiful 45-minute walk (3.4 km) from the house via roads and paths along fields and the sea.
We also recommend a visit to Maltfabrikken in Ebeltoft, which we have a personal connection to, as our family helped get the renovation of the old factory off the ground. If you have children, visit the library inside Maltfabrikken. It is open to everyone and offers a great opportunity for play in the exciting interior, while adults can enjoy the fantastic and raw architecture. We have also often eaten at Malt fabrikken's “Lundbergs Spisehus” or had a beer or juice at “Brewpubben,” where we have family who often work behind the bar serving locally brewed beer.
Another place we often visit is the coffee shop “Go' Kaffe” at Havnevej 1 in Ebeltoft. It has a cozy atmosphere, friendly people, really good coffee, and delicious sourdough bread. If you want to experience something truly Danish, show up at Go' Kaffe on Friday morning at 9 a.m. for a sing-along of classic Danish songs, both new and old. It doesn't matter if you sing along or not.
