A well-main­tai­ned and classic holiday home from 2009 awaits you here – a wonderful retreat with plenty of space for both to­get­her­ness and quiet moments on your own. This is a place to truly unwind, lower your shoulders, and simply enjoy your holiday in peaceful and cosy sur­ro­un­dings.

The house offers generous space with two separate living rooms. Both feature com­fortab­le leather lounge furniture and a good dining table, giving you lovely op­portu­ni­ties to create a “quiet lounge” for an afternoon nap or a good book, as well as a “cosy lounge” where you can gather for fun games or enjoy a great movie together.

In the inviting kitchen, you can easily prepare packed lunches for the day’s ad­ven­tu­res and later relax with a glass of wine while dinner simmers on the stove – perhaps preparing fresh Danish potatoes or rinsing sweet, juicy straw­ber­ri­es.

With two bathrooms, there is no need to queue in the morning, and one is pra­cti­cal­ly equipped with a washing machine – perfect for longer stays or active holiday days with sand between your toes. The five bedrooms offer flexible sleeping ar­ran­ge­ments, so there is plenty of room for both family and friends without it ever feeling crowded.

Only 800 metres away, the beautiful Fjellerup Strand awaits. Here, the day can begin with a re­fres­hing morning swim, continue with sandcast­le building and long walks along the shoreline, and end with a peaceful moment as the sun sets over the sea. And of course, a visit to the local ice cream shop is part of the holiday ex­pe­ri­en­ce – a large waffle cone simply tastes better when enjoyed in flip-flops with salty hair.

The grounds are nice and level, sur­ro­un­ded by a beautiful hedge that creates a cosy and private setting for your holiday days. There is plenty of space for play, ball games, and relaxing in the sun. With terraces facing both northeast and southwest, you can follow the sun throug­hout the day – enjoy your morning coffee in the first gentle rays and gather the family for dinner in the warm evening light. It is easy to find your favourite spot and simply enjoy your holiday to the fullest.

Fjellerup Strand is an old fishing village located in an at­tra­cti­ve holiday area along the coast of Nord­djursland. The beach is very child-friendly and holds the Blue Flag di­stin­ction. You will find dunes, small inlets, shallow waters, and a sandy seabed. The nature in and around Fjellerup is fantastic and varied, with many walking trails and small roads that are ideal for cycling. In spring, enjoy the bright yellow rapeseed fields and the most beautiful, newly blossomed light-green forests.

Along the coast, there are excellent op­portu­ni­ties for fishing. Nearby at­tra­ctions include Meilgaard Slot, the ancient stone dolmens at Tustrup, and Gl. Estrup Land­brugs­mu­se­um. From the house, it is about a 15-minute drive to Scan­di­navia’s largest amusement park, Djurs Som­mer­land, which in­tro­du­ces new at­tra­ctions almost every year. In around 30 minutes, you can reach the charming market town of Grenå, where you can, among other things, visit the sharks at Kat­te­gat­cen­tret and enjoy the maritime at­mosp­he­re around the harbour.
