Part of the plot is a small forest, quickly becoming children’s adventure land. Here, there is room for imag­i­na­ti­ve play, building dens among the trees, and little missions searching for pinecones, insects, or traces of forest animals. Fjellerup Strand is beau­ti­ful­ly located on Djursland’s northern coast and is a true paradise for families. The child-friendly beach with shallow water and soft sand invites endless play, sandcast­les, and carefree days by the water. With dunes, small alleys, and the Blue Flag, it’s a perfect place for ad­ven­tu­res for both young and old.

The sur­ro­un­ding area offers varied nature, where paths and quiet roads along the beautiful yellow rapeseed fields and colorful deciduous forests invite hiking, cycling, and running.

From the holiday home, you can take exciting day trips to local at­tra­ctions right around Fjellerup. In the town itself, you’ll find a well-stocked con­ve­ni­en­ce store open all year and Fjol­le­ha­ven – a charming local play­gro­und where children can burn off energy while adults enjoy the calm or a cup of coffee outdoors.

The Kyst- og Fjord­cen­ter at Randers Fjord offers fun outdoor acti­vi­ties for children and families – and also organizes local ex­pe­ri­en­ces at Fjellerup Strand during the summer months.

For a bit more action, Nordens største amusement park, Djurs Som­mer­land, is only about 15 minutes away by car – they are known for adding a new, wild, and fun at­tra­ction every year. A short drive takes you to Grenaa, where the Kattegat Centre with sharks, seals, and penguins is a hit with children. For longer trips, you can explore Randers with the Ra­in­fo­rest and the Elvis Museum, or visit Ebeltoft and Mols Bjerge on the southern part of Djursland.
